I had eyelid surgery, requiring me to wear a HUGE patch for a week. Upon removal, the tape left a sticky residue, which others have mentioned. I tried peroxide, alcohol, and soap and water, all to no avail. One nice reviewer recommended using baby oil. Since my "baby" is 48, I had none, so used some of my wife's high-dollar, I'm sure, "cleansing oil", and it did the job! I'm sure virtually any oil will work. It did take two applications, and a bit of a rub, so be aware.

Used this tape to hold gauze in place 9 days ago. Removed it the very next day. I still have a red rash and blisters at the sight. I have used a different brand tape since and did not have a reaction. I used to love your products. No more. I will not recommend your products anymore

My husband uses this tape every single day. He had cancer and has a permanent stoma. He has to use this tape to hold his larytube in. It works great. It's actually the only tape he has found that works for him.

Sticks very well, obviously. I'd previously used a drugstore brand version of this which I actually liked much better as it had no residue issues. Bought this current, overly sticky Nexcare 2-pack at a national grocery chain so I'm sure it's genuine.

I’ve been using this for years, but it seems the 3/4” version is not available anymore and only 1” wide? Also the dispenser looks terrible to try and use.

Using this for years. Tape stays on one week only if you use 99% alcohol wiping area to be taped and with that same makeup pad wipe all 10 fingers because fingers will touch the tape before it goes on the intended area.
Tape is great but the “new” dispenser is horrible.

I was buying this tape to tape Maputo cannula from my oxygen to my face so it doesn’t fall out at night while I move in my sleep. The tape holds well and does what I need it to. When I ran out and went to gat a new roll the had changed the dispenser it was in. I hate it! It is hard to roll the tape out to tear and I either roll too much or not enough. It causes a lot of waste. Please get rid of this “new” undesirable dispenser. Thanks!!

The burn pads are soothing to extremely infected areas, and this tape holds the pads together - it is the best tape for this difficult application. Thank you Nexcare!

I am using the nexcare tape to hold a bandage over a surgical wound on my back. It does stick well and stay in place all day. However, I have definite sticky, gummy residue on my back, and now my skin is red and itchy under the tape. I saw an earlier review of using baby oil to remove the residue, but what about the red, itchy blotches under the tape?

The tape is very good, and I have not had any problem with the dispenser. However, the dispenser holds tape of 3/4 inch (from description above: Dispenser (Cat# 779): 3/4" x 7 yds) but the refills are 1 inch (2 pk. (Cat# 771-2PK): 1" x 10 yds). It is most unfortunate that the refills do not fit the dispenser.

I have previously bought transpore but was thinking the flexible clear would work better for my dressing on my back. Seems like I am allergic to only the flexible clear tape. Looks like this may be the lot number 34-8711-6644-2. I broke out in hives which has never happened not sure if because of the breathable feature or what. Disappointed with this 3m product.

My face exploded after putting this tape over a finger splint.... It is absolutely not hypoallergenic!!!! The smell of this tape could give a hypersensitive, chemical sensitivity person a very bad reaction!! Be aware that this product smells very toxic! I had to take if off my finger splint in a matter of minutes and an hour later my eyes are still burning, nose is still stuffy and have a crazy headache!

After trying tape after tape only to have them either not stick, or cause redness on my skin I found Flexible Clear. This is the only tape that will stick to my skin wherever I need and wont cause that red itchy tape burn.
