NO support! They don't offer battery replacement services in USA and won't even sell you one to do it yourself. Great dashcam for a couple years, minus the overheating issue, then when you need help, they will offer you a 20% discount for a new replacement. Look elsewhere! This company is awful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this camera for the piece of mind to record any issues that might occur on the road and I've really been happy with it since installing a couple weeks ago. Installing the camera and its software was really easy (not including interior panel removal) and the app for the phone allows for smooth setup. The camera image quality is excellent with its resolution and image stabilization feature. The polarized filter seems to help for glare or reflection off of the dash. I have not used the Alexa feature yet but am looking forward to the added capability. The SOS feature and GPS locating on top of the image quality make this camera a powerhouse that anyone needing a dash cam should consider.

It was easy to install and the picture quality is very clear. I leave it plugged in so it starts and stops when the car is on or off and there is a feature to record while parked. I have had a couple of times where it freezes, but it comes back.

It's easy to pull out of the package, install in your vehicle and easy to download the app and function quickly.

It is very user friendly and does a great job of capturing what's in front of you when you're driving. The picture quality is very good and you can see even small details during playback.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great product! The Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam is definitely the ultimate dash cam. They provide you with an adhesive mount or a suction mount for the windshield and the cam magnets onto the mount for easy removal. I elected for the suction mount and have been impressed with how well it stays in place. Running the power cord to my power source was a lot easier than I thought it would be. There was adequate room for the wire to be tucked in neatly. The dash cam takes a beautiful video that is crystal clear and not impacted at all by vehicle vibrations. The built in safety features with GPS and emergency response are really cool. You can connect the cam right to your phone with its built in wifi and download any file for editing or to send out. You will need a fairly large microSD card to store videos since it takes such high res videos but they are cheap now. Very impressed.

Coming from lower quality dash cams, this is the first Nextbase that I have owned, and it’s easy to see the advantages over your typical cam. First off, the 4K picture is amazing! When I watch back the video if feels as if I’m in my car. And it’s not just having a great picture, but makes it easy to see every little detail on the road. Max resolution is 4K and 30 FPS, and the setting goes down to 1080 and 120 FPS. Feature wise it’s got everything, including WIFI to talk to your phone, image stabilization, night vision, good sized 3 inch IPS touchscreen (good for angle viewing). Although I didn’t, you can also buy attachments to add a cabin or review camera. A good feature if your kids are driving your car and want to spy, I mean keep an eye on them. Key items included in the box are a click and go windshield mount, a suction mount, a USB connector cable, a power adapter for your car cigarette lighter connector (at least we used to call it that), and a ~3 inch power cord holder. Setting up is pretty simple. The included instructions guide you through the process in a clear step by step fashion. Insert the SD card, charge the unit and follow the on screen setup. There is also an app to install which helps to set up the dashcam. The instructions have a 2D barcode to scan to get to the app, but that just took me to the Nextbase homepage. Had to page through to find the app, but no big deal. To install on your windshield just remove the adhesive on the mount and secure. And then installing and removing the dashcam is a breeze. Using the click and go mount, a magnet secures the dashcam to the mount and easily removes…nice feature when you’re parked in not the best area. Why I like this…great video and audio, which is really the purpose of a dashcam. All the other features are nice adds. The 622GW is on the higher cost side, but If you’re looking for a high end, top quality dashcam, I’d recommend the 622GW!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dashcam works well, great picture and easy to understand controls and options. I thought routing the cable was going to be much worse than it actually turned out to be, but they included a little plastic tool to help get everything tucked away nicely. I wish the power cable had been about a foot longer, but that really will be dependant on your vehicle and where you need to plug in. I haven't tried the permanent windshield mount yet, as I may be buying a new car soon, but the included suction mount option is ok. It falls off the window without fail every night, but putting it back up is easy. The software for the computer isn't great, but adequate. Updating the firmware was not as easy as it could be, as it looks like that option should just work in the interface when the camera is plugged in. It does nothing, so let me save you some trouble: Format the SD card in the camera, download the firmware update, extract the firmware update from the compressed file. You will have two files at this point. Copy these files on to the SD card and power cycle the camera. It will restart a couple of times, but its fast and easy. The picture recorded by the camera is really good, very clear and smooth. Playback is easy, and the built in Alexa compatibility is useful. Good camera, just needs better instructions.

The instruction manual is easy to understand and quick to install. I feel very safe having this great kit in my car especially with the SOS feature that is calling if I am unable. The app on my phone gives clear live footage with is very helpful. The vibrations are reduced by digital image stabilisation so the image quality is very clear and crucial details are easy to read. I am extremely happy with my new dash cam and would happily recommend it to anyone.

I love the magnetic feature, as soon as you pop the camera on the magnetic holder it starts recording. It’s nice and compact and the quality of the video is much better than expected. Great buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a smart little camera! It has a nice big touchscreen with really good picture quality. The menus are easy to navigate and it’s quite straightforward to set up. I was a bit dubious about whether the magnet fixing on the mount would be strong enough but I’m pleased to say I’ve had no problems with it. It even comes with a little tool to help put the wires under your trims so it’s neat and hidden. One thing to be aware of is that it doesn’t come with a memory card (not even a small one to try it out!) so make sure you have/get one before use.

Also how you can connect it to your phone. Only downside didnt get many replacable sticky back mounts but not a problem overall and Great handy piece of equipment.

It has superb image quality (the 4k video is great), the 120fps feature is brilliant and in poor weather it still has a great image. The app alongside it is also good as is the UI in the camera. The interface is intuitive and overall, I really like this dashcam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The major standout thing for me with this dashcam is the image quality, the high definition is ultra clear even when the weather isn't great it remains ultra clear and glare free. It is very easy to install and setup you just need an sd card as one isn't supplied. It has a brilliant super slow mo setting on playback which would be extremely handy to get a license plate if needed. The alexa link via the nextbase connect app is also a handy piece of kit to have as it will take pictures upon voice request. Although not used the breakdown service it can pinpoint your vehicle if in a remote area so again very handy. Overall very impressed with this kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a dash cam for a few years, and always use it when out and about, as you just never know when you might find the video useful! I've had a cheap and cheerful cam and assumed this is pretty much as good as it gets, after all it's just a dash cam right? I was wrong! This Nextbase cam is in another league! Firstly, it's pretty chunky, which put me off initially, but it feels well made and non plasticky, which is a big tick. It was very simple to set up, I had it installed in the van and working in 5 minutes... Only gripe is that it needs a Micro SD card to work, which isn't supplied, (annoyingly), but luckily I had a spare one anyway. It went from box to recording in the van in minutes, and the picture quality is fantastic! It's on par with my Go Pro, in my opinion, a massive improvement on my other dash cam. The image stabilisation really helps to keep the camera recording high quality shots, without lots of jumping around. I made use of both the app and the Alexa facilities straight away. Alexa allows you to use your voice to control the cam! It allows you to start recording and stop recording, just by asking it, which is great if you have forgotten to turn it on and already are on the road, as you don't need to stop and turn it on/off manually, or try to press the buttons while driving, which is likely to earn you some some points on your licence, if caught doing so (Dangerous!), and so that's a handy facility! The app is also fab! It works off of wifi, and allows you to download the video footage from the cam, direct to your smartphone, so no more having to mess around taking cards out of the cam, and inputting into your PC etc, it simply downloads it and so you have instant access to the images, allowing you to share, upload the video as needed. I love this, it saves so much time and hassle! There is a lot more to this cam, and rather than list it all here, I recommend giving this cam a try, it really is worth every penny, if you are a regular dash cam user, and want something reliable, well made and packed full of features!

A 3" touchscreen on the back let's you wiew and control camera and a microphone will record audio in a car. The dash camera will automatically save any footage then the crash or a bump is detected. Also you can choose your recording camera has Alexa buid so the ones who have Alexa at home will know how to communicate with it. I didint find my self using it since the camera turns on and off automatically. Installation is straightforward if you’re using the bundled cable that plugs into a 12V socket somewhere on your dashboard or centre console.
