A: Yes, the Switch 2 will have a YouTube app. The original Switch got a YouTube app on or close to its release and I've used that for years with no issue.

Q: What if I don't have a 4k tv? Will I still be able to stream or hook it up to a standard TV? I say stream or hook up because I don't know the dynamics of how to play a switch console on a TV screen.

Nintendo delivers again! Have been enjoying the new Switch 2 since release day and am nearly finished 100%ing Super Mario Kart World (the best in the franchise) since playing it everyday. 4K HDR is beautiful! All the upgrades over the Switch 1 are excellent. Cannot wait to play Bananza!

There are multiple reviews about nintendo switch 2's being stolen by Ontrac including mine. Never ordering from target again unless they stop using ontrac as a shipper. It supiciously says delivered in Maspeth at 11:30pm where their facility is located but not to my address.

The insanity of charging $80 or the “generous” $50 for a game that is going to be milked for years with DLCs and who knows what. The system is fine but they haven’t fixed the drift issue. I hardly used the console but it’s already showing sign of problems to come, mainly with the left controller. And guess what, they’ve increased the cost of controllers too, lol. If not for the exclusives like Mario, Zelda, this system would have failed but they know that people will buy it.

I had zero plans to buy a Switch 2. I went in for freshpet dog food and walked by the electronics and launch day. There was no line. No ruckus. Yet, they had a small stack of them. I walked out with this bundle and I'm glad I did. The only thing I'm missing from the old Switch is the OLED but everything else is blowing me away. It's an iterative design rather than revolutionary but Nintendo rarely misses. The one regret is lack of games I haven't already played on other consoles. However, when you get to play BotW and TotK as they were meant to. In full glory and no noticeable slowdown, you know you made the right choice. Mario Kart World is neat too. I'm having a blast with this little machine. That's coming from a middle-aged man that has nearly every system and PC configuration available. Buy one if you were on the fence. It's a portable marvel.

Better than the Switch 1 in every way except battery life. Better performance, higher resolution screen (I don't really miss the OLED, this is a high quality LED), bigger screen, better build quality. Plays Switch 1 games better, even if they haven't been upgraded. Updates to some old games make them look and feel like new. New games are even better. Hard to ask for more. It's just what I wanted Nintendo to do.

Shipped on launch day via Ontrac whose processors/drivers are known to steal packages. If your package has the lithium ion battery warning label, it's open season on your item. They know it's an expensive electronic which you'll never see. Delivery was held at processing facility for over a week. Contacted Target and Ontrac to open a ticket but Ontrac support is no help they pass off responsibility to the seller? Come June 19th all of a sudden it's 'delivered' at 11:30pm? Even if that was the case, packsges don't last 30 seconds on a NYC porch. Never will I ever preorder or buy anything from Target. Minute I knew it was being shipped by this carrier nothing good will come out of it all because Target chose to save a few bucks on shipping.

I like that the whole library of switch 1 is backwards compatible. If you're a parent and are buying this for a child, this means that all switch 1 games work for this console. I dislike that there aren't many new titles available, but I think if you're reading this in December of 2025, I'm sure this will be different. My recommendation is if you're a die hard fan, pick it up. If you're looking to play something new, I recommend waiting until after the holiday and see what titles they've released.
