I am a disabled vet and I have found out that it is easier and sometimes cheaper for me to shop on the net for things and have them shipped to me. I found the yellow sponge set and the blue ones. When they came I thought that "these seem thin" but brushed it off as being new. WRONG, in 2 weeks and a day I went through the yellow one & 3 different dish soaps because of a gross, brown stain developed. I included a pic where it is compared to another sponge from Kroger (whatever their house brand is), go to the 2-inch mark and compare the thickness. On the blue ones, on 2 the scrub part separated tried to use those daily. Threw all of them away. A total waste!

They fall apart pretty easily since they’re so thin. We throw our sponges away pretty frequently, but these barely make it a week.

Quality went down & target should update the main pictures that are advertised because these sponges are no longer thick. As previous reviews state they are paper thin and aren't worth it for the price that you are paying.

I have bought these sponges many times but I never will again. They cut the size down to 1/3 of what they used to be but, no surprise, kept the price about the same. It’s an absurd example of “shrinkflation”, which is just pure greed by another name. I literally laughed when I pulled them out of the package. I can’t believe I took the time to write a review of sponges, but it really is that egregious.

What happened to the sponge? It’s less than half the size it used to be. I never have made a review before but this is ridiculous. I didn’t notice till I got home. Won’t be buying these again. What a waste.
