Love these clean line barstools! They are so beautiful in our kitchen. As mentioned in other reviews, the back is not the comfiest to lean on. But when sitting at a bar or counter, you tend to lean a bit forward anyways so it hasn’t been an issue for us. My only problem is the bit of difficulty putting together. We got one chair that didn’t line up at all and was a total pain. Once together - beautiful, perfect!

It said in the description that it came assembled it did not whatsoever. The whole thing had to be put together and it was rather a pain. I also scratched the chair while putting it together. They look nice but specifically picked them bc it said it was assembled.

Pain to Assemble!
Assembly was a nightmare. You need two people, one to hold everything in place while the other puts in the screws. Even then, the pieces move too much making it hard to line up the holes just right. We tried every which way to put the back piece on which should just snap in place. We used all our body weight, pushed, pulled, etc. It wouldn’t budge or fit. Let’s just say these chairs nearly caused a divorce haha - save your marriage and your time by NOT buying these

Horrible, pieces dont even fit together
All these reviews talk about how easy assembly is, I have to disagree. The foot support straight up did not fit, the dimensions weren’t even close. You have to almost bend the legs and scratch up the metal just to get the foot support to barely fit. Returning and super disappointed with the quality. Not to mention caused me an injury trying to force the pieces to fit that were not meant to fit. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

These have been absolutely phenomenal barstools for our family. They are metal, so they wash up easily, and we have a LOT of kids using them. metal chair - looks nice - not a fan of the crossbar
Northwood Metal Cafe Dining Chair - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee Chair was super easy to assemble. screws + Allen wrench (supplied.) A little issue with putting the back/crossbar on - it just snaps on. Had to do some bodyweight pushing. The seat part is comfortable but the bar across the back isn't my favorite. I couldn't imagine sitting in this chair for a long period of time comfortably. Looks nice but I like a comfortable chair to sit in.

I did not like this chair at all. While the chair is very easy to put together and the design is simple and goes with everything, that’s why I gave it two stars. However, I did not like the back bar mainly. The back bar is so uncomfortable and hits on an area on my back where it hurts and makes me not want to lean back on it. If the back bar was different, then I would definitely consider getting more for a full set.

Nice modern looking bar stool!
I received this counter height bar stool to test out and I love it! It was easy to construct and a solid piece (but easy to push in and out). It’s hard to find a stool that has a back that doesn’t stick out too far from the counter…this one’s perfect. I’ll be purchasing another stool to match.

I love this Northwood metal cafe counter height bar stool. Easy to assemble and height is perfect for our counter. Black color is very sleek and stylish. It’s heavier than I expected but very sturdy and great quality stool. Seat is wide and no pokey metal corners. Would totally recommend this.
