Q: What type of rug pad do you recommend

submitted by KJR - 2 years ago

  • A: While we cannot endorse a specific brand or type of rug pad, we strongly recommend incorporating a rug pad into your home decor. A quality rug pad provides essential protection by acting as a barrier between your rug and the floor, preventing wear and tear. Additionally, it offers cushioning that enhances the comfort underfoot, making your space more inviting. By using a rug pad, you can significantly extend the lifespan of your beloved rug, keeping it looking fresh and vibrant for years to come.

    jute runner rug

SOFT! We use the runner infront of our dual sinks. Tightly woven, one loose strand...snip and problem solved. The color is esthetic.

    Great quality rug

Rug is great quality well-made, wish was a little more stiff or had something on the back to stop it from sliding on the floor, but it’s an excellent price for the quality

    DO NOT BUY

This rug is disgusting. I was so disapointed. Not only did they send the wrong color, but it sheds an insane amount and is honestly horrible quality. I wanted this rug to work out so badly, but this was a no for me.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Please be advised that this rug is characterized by moderate shedding, which should not be excessive.

    Love the color!

Like the rug a lot, but it needs a rug gripper to keep it from sliding on the floor. Also, it is too thick for my front door (the door won't open with it in place) so unfortunately I have to return it.

    (no review title)

I ordered two rugs 8x10. One for my living room and the 2nd one for my space/sitting area in my master bedroom. Based on other reviews I did vacuum both back and front of rugs as I was setting them up. They are softer than I was expecting, which is a positive. I think they both look great in their respective spaces. Some prior reviews mention smell of rugs. They have a slight smell, but they are new, so that will fade in a few days or so. Just like a new car smell. I'm happy with my purchase. The size was perfect for my larger than I'm used to spaces. The price was good, since I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a fancy rug.

Fancy Rug at a great price

The rug looks great and is comparable to high end furniture stores like Pottery Barn. So glad I purchased this item!

This rug becomes snagged and the jute comes out of the stitching too easily

    Save. Your. Money.

I’ve had this rig for less than four months and it’s already going to the trash. It does NOT handle wear well, the strings keep coming up. It looks insanely dirty even though we barely step on it. You can’t pull back chairs easily. It hardly stays to the floor!!!!!! I’m so disappointed I wasted my money on this.

    Cute Jute Rug

Purchased this rug in the grey color and I really like how there's so other colors mixed in to the weave. It's not strictly grey. Arrived on time and packaged nicely. Looking forward to trying this out.

    Great rug

Just bought this for my bedroom, although the texture looks rough it is actually very comfortable to walk on. The 8x10 is actually a little longer than 10ft, it’s closer to 10 ft 5 inches.

    Not reccomended

The rug is not quality for the amount paid. It sheds and has large picks plus you must have a rug pad. I’m so disappointed! Like others said it doesn’t happen until the 90 day return window is up. I have to buy a different rug now! Ugh

    Jute Ivory

I am so excited that my new ivory jute rug came in. it was exactly what I was looking for and more. The quality seems to be great, softer to the touch than I expected. The color is exactly as it described. The size is just right. Can't say anything bad about this purchase.
