This stuff works! I make most of my supplement decisions based on solid evidence and research, but it's nice when you actually see it does in fact make a difference! The last week or two I have been waking up in the middle of the night with increasing shoulder pain. It dawned on me while talking to a family member today about K2 that I had been out for a few weeks. I take 10,000 IU vitamin D per day. It's amazing that in just a few weeks without the K2 my body had already begun depositing enough calcium in my shoulder tendons to flare up my calcific tendonitis and begin causing shoulder pain again, instead of routing the calcium to more appropriate places, like bones and teeth. Hate to think what it would do to my arteries long term!

Great supplement
My dental hygienist recommended me start taking MK7 K2 She said it would lessen tartar build up, because K2 helps distribute the calcium where it needs to go..so 3 months after taking K2, I went back to have my teeth cleaned and she said I hardly had any tartar, and that's a small miracle for me as I have always had problems with tartar. And now it's solved!! Everyone needs to be on this supplement.

Easy to take. I was amazed to just find out after all these years that K-2, and particularly this formulation or type, was necessary to shepherd calcium into the bones. All that time taking calcium "naked" and coming up with a diagnosis of osteopenia...

I believe it works very well. This would be esp. good for those who do not eat fermented foods--I do eat these foods but I take this supplement anyway as extra insurance and of course, combine it with taking Vitamin D-3...

the NOW MK-7 Vit. K-2 product works for me
I mostly keep covered up due to my sun-damaged skin, so I need to take Vit D3. I can't tolerate cultured foods that contain Vit. K-2, which I understand works synergistically with D3. I take NOW's MK-7 / Vit. K-2 as an accompaniment to D3. I've had no bad effects, and I trust the NOW brand and the formulation. It would be great if they switched to a glass or biodegradable bottle.

Adding to Vitamin D
I’ve had a problem with maintaining D levels, did some research and vitamin K helps in the absorption of D, so adding to my regimen and hoping it helps. I tend to like Now because of non-gmo and minimal ingredients.

I have had some trouble finding MK7 K2 alone; usually it’s in a formula with Vitamin D which is also in my multi-vitamin. I was happy to find this from the well-priced Now brand and as always, even better pricing and prompt shipping from Swanson.
