Patchouli Oil by Now Foods - 1 oz EssOil

Patchouli is great for anyone who enjoys an earthy and woody fragrance. It’s my favorite odor and makes a beautiful perfume with ylang ylang oil and clary sage.

Very disappointed. There is a hint of patchouli in the product, but very minimal.

I love it, I use it to neutralize odors in the house and mixed with other oils in my humidifier.

Although i got more for my money with Now patchouli oil, using more did not give me the body of scent of other brands which I prefer.

I dribble some on my many computer/phone/etc... charging packs that stay warm all the time and the house smells terrific. I really appreciate the quality and the low price. I also have a vented - top fedora type work hat that I should have burned a while ago, but I like very much, so I rejuvenated it with a couple of drops. Great stuff.

this has a deep woods smell, use it as a perfume and it will keep insects away as well. Love to use this when going to outside functions.

Very luxurious! I use this in my homemade skin care blends and love the faint musk smell it leaves behind. I love that Swanson's carries this in the larger size because it's one of the essential oils I love using as a base note.

Earliest memories are of San Francisco in the '60's and the smell of Patchouli. I tried making candles with this essence and it just didn't measure up to my expectations and/or memories. Perhaps it's just me and a case of not being able to find my way home.

This patchouli oil leaves a lovely warm scent on the skin. I love it's invigorating, yet relaxing qualities. A treat for the senses. Love it and Swanson's has the best prices!

This is a wonderful value. I love the smell of patchouli and this is wonderfully earthy and natural smelling. You can just tell it's purity. The fragrance does last a long time. I use this in my homemade skin lotions and by itself as a natural perfume. Love it and will buy again!

I used some of this oil to scent a mixture of mostly shea butter, along with some Swanson's coconut oil, argan oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E oil to make my own night time hand cream. The patchouli is highly scented, which is what I wanted, since I was able to use less. Now I'm hoping the oil has an excellent shelf life!

Smells great, last long. Good value for your money. Great insect repellant.

If you are looking for the most useful of essential oils, you found it. Furthermore, this particular brand produces a very high quality patchouli oil. If you are experienced in purchasing patchouli essential oils, you will notice a difference between brands, most likely due to the fermentation process, and distillation of the essential oil. Patchouli, for those who still consider it a product intended to assist hippies in masking a particular odor, might want to reconsider. Patchouli is used as a smoky, deep, earthy, base for many famous fragrances. It only takes a minimal amount of research to discover the possibilities. Add a small amount to a castile soap-based, all-purpose cleaner and fragrance your whole house. Place a few drops into a lavender foam bath and let your worries dissolve. Or, if you are daring, take a couple drops of pure essential oil with some jojoba and ylang ylang essential oil, and people will be asking you what is that intoxicating scent you are wearing. In addition, it's a unisex fragrance- especially good for the guys, but wonderful for women with the right floral compliment. What I love about patchouli essential oil, is that is is complimentary to so many other fragrances and essential oils- all the citrus oils, lavender, basil, marjoram, parsley, lemongrass, peppermint, vetiver, etc. This product is a true bargain, and a treasure. Indulge yourself.

I use the Patchouli Oil as an air freshener in my truck. A couple of drops is all I need per week.

Pure essential oil with no additives. Outstanding, long lasting scent of patchouli with many uses. As another reviewer mentioned it is very "powerful" which should be construed as a positive knowing it is 100% pure organic. I can put litterally one drop onto the back of my neck,spread it in and the aroma will be noticed(and commented on) for the next 8 hours! Several uses that I have found: -Add several drops (to your desired scent level) to a bottle/or container of organic unscented oatmeal lotion. -take a cotton swab and absorb approximately 12 drops into it, tightly wrap it in a baggy with small holes and place it in your vehicle for a great car freshener. I live in the desert and at this time of year and we utilize evaporative coolers for a much more affordable way of cooling our homes. I will about 25 drops to a 32 ounce water spray bottle and spray/mist the cooler pads nightly to fall asleep to the serenity of the patchouli essence. Yes, straight out of the bottle it is strong, which you may enjoy as I, but it should be added to other adjuncts to enjoy it as it's best. Additional scents that combine well with Patchoulli is orange, tangerine or clove oils.

Both my husband and I tried to like this Patchouli Oil but it was just too strong and unpleasant. It was not what we were expecting and we returned it.
