I thought this was a great idea, but I'm not really sure what to do with it. I prefer my lip products in a bag in my purse or bag. The strap is confusing

I recently purchased this NYX Professional Makeup Chillz Lip Gloss Pouch in Pink, and while it’s a fun concept, I have some mixed feelings. Inside the pouch, I’m storing the NYX Professional Makeup Fat Oil Lip Drip Lip Gloss in Supermodel (0.16 fl oz)—there’s still a decent amount of space left, and I was hoping for a snugger fit. While it does work around my Stanley cup, the Velcro closure looks a bit awkward. At $7 for the pouch and $9 for the lip gloss, the combined price feels a bit steep considering NYX is a drugstore brand.
