This is the worst eyeliner I have ever purchased. Like many others said, the hard plastic makes it impossible to sharpen, so after a couple of uses, I had to throw it in the garbage.

Can’t advance product
Can not advance product in tube. The previous question about this was not answered by company but company gave instructions on how to sharpen instead. I love the color and ease of application but now useless after 5 applications.

I think NYX should send me free eyeline for life, I am about to post this everywhere! I loooove this eyeliner...the colors are beautiful, it goes on smoothly, and it stays on! I was aggravated that it didn't twist to move the pencil up, so thought I had to buy a new one way too often. Then I read some tiny print somewhere that said you can use an eyeliner sharpener...on the plastic. i tried it and it WORKS! NYX PLEASE post this everywhere in big bold type!!

Didnt love this formula
The eyeliner color was very light and the it didnt want to apply to my eye. I had to go over the lid a couple times for the color to apply. Its like something in the pencil formula is too oily so it doesn’t want to stick to your eye.

Great color but...
Decent color but…I actually bought the eye liner color called, fierce purple, not sure why the Target website says I bought, eggplant, but the fierce purple went on my eyes clumpy. Compared to other higher-end brands, I didn’t love this. I prefer the twistable kind.

Did not like not user friendly
This is the worst eyeliner i have ever used and the most expensive. After a couple of uses there is no point and it is very hard to sharpen. . also was not easy to figure out how to sharpen With all the complaints you would think the company would offer a coupon for something else. I will not buy again and will not reccommend

Hi rearea. Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the Epic Wear Waterproof Eyeliner Stick, it can be sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener. For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results. We hope this information helps! We are sorry for the inconvenience. xoxo

Great until you need to sharpen
Colors are beautiful but the tip broke off and they don't sharpen properly. If there is a special sharpener for these it should be so indicated. Disappointed is an understatement.

very vibrant color payout, good pigmentation! a majority of them did stay on well and lasted a good while and applied very smoothly but im giving 4 stars instead of 5 because a couple of the shades weren’t consistent in formulation and wouldn’t last as long.

This product wears down very quickly - then what? It does not appear to be sharpenable, but actually is! So weird. Would be far better to have a retractable with this range of colors - loving the Chill Blue.

good pigmentation, however doesn’t stay quiteee as long as i’d like… i also kinda hate the way you’re supposed to sharpen it, i wish it was retractable but other than that it’s a good beginner eyeliner

Not transfer proof
The color is very pigmented and it lasts a sufficient amount of time. Nothing spectacular. But the real issue is it transfers from tight lining to my bottom water line. That’s not acceptable.

Broke the tip first time using it. Isn’t a mechanical pencil. Looked at other reviews to see if I just couldn’t figure it out but nope, instructions and reviewers say the company says to use a pencil sharpener even though it’s hard plastic. Would not buy again.

Despite the plastic appearance this pencil is sharpen-able. We recommend using a makeup sharpener like our Dual Sharpener, and turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results.
