A: Hello Taleen! Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the Line Loud Vegan Longwear Lip Liner, it can be sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener. Our NYX Dual Sharpener would be a great product to use! For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results. Would have liked it if the twisty thing worked. I only got to use the tip because it wouldn’t give more product. I also tried removing the cap, but it wouldn’t twist and ended up breaking.

I love these liners. I found my perfect everyday color (Trophy Life) and I have them all over the place. I sharpen mine with whatever makeup pencil sharpener I have, but I'm VERY careful. It's not something I can do fast, but it only takes a minute or so. I do wish these twisted up, but I'm OK with the sharpening part of it.

I ended up throwing this product away, which I rarely do. I am a big fan of using something just do get rid of it if you don’t end up enjoying it, but I just can’t with this lip liner. The color is nice and it applies very smoothly and feels buttery on the lips, but that is honestly where the positives end. The softness of the formula causes the tip of the liner to break extremely easily. Additionally, I found it hard to sharpen initially; once I finally got it to sharpen, the product made a huge mess of my sharpener, because the liner is so soft it cakes up on the blade of the sharpener and is very difficult to clean. This product is not user friendly and is much more of a hassle than it is worth, I would go so far as to call it a waste of money, despite being pretty affordable.

Definitely do not purchase this item. The pointed tip broke off when I opened it, which is fine because it is supposed to twist up. The twist mechanism did not work. I didn’t bother to return it but I’d never purchase this item (or honestly other items from this brand) again given the quality.

This is the best lip liner EVER. It is so easy to apply and does not dry out your lips at all. The shades are also pretty versatile, so I find myself matching one color to 3 or 4 different lipsticks I have. You get a lot with your money. I literally took a 3 hour nap wearing it and I woke up to it looking the exact same as when I applied it. 10/10.

Very fragile pencil. Broke immediately on first use. Feels good once I was able to use it, but these were a waste of money since sharpening them was a waste of pencil as well.
