It looks great at first, but the formula balls up on the lip. I will say, it lasts really long. But it slowly starts balling up, and if you try to reapply any, it turns super cakey and dry.

I really loved this product I'm always looking for something in a green shade so I was excited to try this. I don't usually wear a lip gloss but I have used it both as a gloss and a mat and it works pretty well as a long wear it stays forever and it's actually a little difficult to get off, I think that's the only con I've had while using this product. You do want to apply the mat first and then let it dry before applying the gloss and enjoy your day

Colors are beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend for touch ups or a product to bring out with you. If you have lips with a lot of creases & use the applicator, it will emphasize your creases a lot, even with the gloss on. Instead of a dry "powder-y" feeling, it feels more like it's clinging onto your lips with a film. It looks a lot better when you pat in the product with your fingers or a brush and add the gloss to get rid of the "clingy" feeling. If you like an easy application for touch ups, this product might not be for you.

I'm always looking for a new shade of green lip color so when Spicy Jalapeno dropped I had to try. I was absolutely impressed by both the bold color and the length of wear. I'm not a fan of gloss but did try it for the day and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't run, smear , or rub off to quickly but did reapply the gloss a time or too. Great as a matte also. I bought 3 shades.

Love this! It’s my favorite lip stick and we need more colors! For those who complained about flaking - you HAVE to use the gloss! Of course it’s coming off without it!! Shake before use, let dry, then apply gloss carefully. If you just pull it out without taking off the excess, of course it’s going to get all over. Take with you so you can touch up the gloss every 2-3 hours to keep it in the best condition. So take the one stars with a grain of salt yall! Get it! Worth the $12.

I've never had a problem with any NYX lip colors before this one. Earlier today, I purchased this product in "In Charge." It's an exquisite berry hue but immediately upon applying it, I felt little, gritty beads of product on my lips. It was easy to apply so I don't think the tube was stale but I noticed that the gritty portions settled in the center of my lips; I could even see a few of the beads on the sponge applicator. I then pressed my lips together & it was an uncomfortable sensation when prying my mouth open...yes, it was that dry. I probably should have applied the gloss over the color first but now I'm glad I didn't bother. I had to use coconut oil to remove the lip color & it even stained the skin surrounding my lips. I'm still a loyal NYX customer but unfortunately, I won't be using this particular product.

I see a lot of negative stuff here and while it may not be everyone's cup of tea i think mostly the application is the issue. I usually apply it 6 in the morning and the colour is still perfect at 5 in the afternoon when i get home from work. I eat and drink and also smoke during the day and not once i reapply anything. The key is that you exfoliate regularly and make sure you apply it to clean dry lips for best results. Any leftover oils or foundation etc could mess with the formula and result in fading and chipping. ***Also a tip for anyone eagerly waiting for a black shade like me. Self taught millionaire and on a mission mixed together makes a nice muted black that lasts all day
