Q: The ingredients show that this contains Omega 3. Does it have any fishy taste or smell?

submitted by Cat - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi there! Regarding Omega-3 content in our Full Fat Oatmilk, we use an algal-based vegan DHA. This ingredient is identified on our label as "DHA algal oil". For more information on our full ingredient list, please see our US product page: https://us.oatly.com/products/full-fat-oatmilk-chilled. Thanks!

submitted byOatly - 3 years ago
  • A: Absolutely no fishy smell or taste whatsoever.

Q: Can 2-year old toddler drink this milk?

submitted by Sunny - 7 months ago
  • A: Definitely, however it does have about 7g naturally occurring sugars per serving. Some kids do fine with that amount, some kids are more sensitive. I give it to my 3yo as a milk alternative but don't go over 1 serving per day or else he will get a little hyperactive.

Q: why does the label information for this item not list the added sugar as an ingredient?

submitted by Redwoody - 2 years ago
  • A: The sugar is not added seprately. Instead the way that they process the oats breaks it down into an "oat sugar" which is why they have to classify it as an added sugar on the nutritional label.

I'm allergic to dairy, and for a long time was unable to make kefir. When I use this milk, I'm able to make a very nice non-dairy kefir. I sure hope Target keeps on offering it! It's the only oatmilk that makes good kefir. I also like the taste for drinking plain. Highly recommend!

Target increased price more than competitors. Every place else in the area charges $5.29 but Target charges $5.39.

The Oatly oat milk with DHA has a bad taste with a thicker texture. Get your Omega 3 from somewhere else. I definitely recommend the original oat milk, which is great!

My toddler daughter loves this stuff, and I prefer this brand over others in my coffee and as a milk substitute in cooking. Does not have any residue/texture issues and no artificial vanilla tastes, etc.

This is my first time trying this brand. Not impressed unfortunately. The taste was odd and not like other oat drinks I usually buy. I bought this kind out of convenience since I was already shopping Target and remembered I needed more oat milk. Won’t be repurchasing and will leave for my sister.

First time trying this and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was in my coffee. I did take a taste before adding it to my coffee and it does have like a nutty aftertaste but not bad at all. Really good in my coffee. I’ll definitely buy again.

My 2 year old daughter is sensitive to dairy and loves this oatmilk! She has been drinking for over a year and is within normal limits for weight and above for height. She is thriving and doing perfectly fine without dairy milk! Love this oatmilk! It goes the best in my coffee especially iced with no creamer needed because of the full fat! It also makes the absolute best lattes! I’ve also seen Starbucks using this oatmilk so this is their secret ingredient too lol.

We are a dairy free house due to a toddler who is severely allergic. My daughter could only tolerate oatmilk as an alternative and wasn’t picky on brand but they don’t all perform the same when you’re incorporating them into food. We loved the Silk NextMilk due to is very mild flavor and ability to go incognito in recipes but since it was discontinued, we hadn’t found a replacement… until now! Yeah, it tastes great and does wonderful in coffee. But I made biscuits and gravy (a hard dish to camouflage non dairy milk in) and it was a success! I will continue to buy this for our house.

I've tried different alternatives, and this is my favorite so far, the Oatly full fat Oatmilk goes well with my coffee, it is not sweet, it is creamy, so it makes foam. I do like that it does not have dairy, no nuts and no gluten. And the added calcium vitamins and DHA is a plus. I will keep buying it since I like the Oatly brand.

Three years ago my family and I started having stomach issues with regular milk, so we started drinking lactaid but it only helped for a couple of months. We tried different brands but some were too watery or it tasted weird. A friend recommended Oatly and as soon as we started drinking it, we fell in love with the taste, texture, how our stomach responded, we are not bloated any more! Plus, it’s so creamy! It is a little bit pricey but it is worth it.
