I used a different brand for the past 2 years, my hair and scalp was fine, and recently have switched to this shampoo. After just a few washes, I now have itchy scalp with heavy dandruff. My wife bought this shampoo over a year ago, but I had to use up the old brand before using this one. I don't know if the shampoo goes bad after 1 year

So this shampoo is a bit thicker than most out there. You don’t need a whole lot and it lathers up really nicely! It has a great balance of smell of coconut but it’s not overwhelming! After the 1st wash using this shampoo along with the same brand of conditioner, I can notice a difference in using this brand. I let my hair air dry. Once my hair dried out, I noticed my hair was a lot softer feeling. It didn’t leave my hair feeling dried out and coarse feeling. Sorta like tossing a match into a dried out bush and watching it go up in flames type of dried out. My hair felt super clean, light and fluffy but not frizzy that you sometimes get when you let your hair air dry. So far I really like this and it seems to be the best that I’ve found that doesn’t cost a butt load from a beauty salon!

I like a lot of OGX products but this one falls short. The fragrance and lather are nice but my hair feels tangly once rinsed. I follow with conditioner but I wish the shampoo left my hair feeling more smooth.
