Q: Does the chrome last long, or does it corrode after time?

A: I’ve had a few of these for 5-8 years now and the only way to make them last is to maintain them. Clean the pump tops regularly and to clear them of clogged soap, take off the pump, immerse it in water, pump it several times until it runs clear, and then replace it.

A: I've had this dispenser for at least three years, it gets heavy use, and the chrome finish didn't start to degrade until a few months ago. I may it again because I like how unique it looks!

A: Love the look. Had 6 of these around the house for the past few years. All the dispensers have either turned green or some of the chrome started to chip off. I wish i could just replace and purchase new dispensers. The glasses are still in great condition.

Q: I've had to buy 2 of these because after a week it only put out little bubbles. Returned one, got the other & same thing. Have to rinse it every other use. It's like plastic tubing is taking in air. It's not usable! Don't know the fix..

poor quality, doesnt last
would not recommend. very beautiful aesthetically, but it does not last. it’s covered in what looks like verdigris, and the pump is rusted so you get rust in your soap. and now the pump is stuck down and has to be pulled back up. doesn’t last and would not recommend.

The pump is not stainless, it gets corroded and gross. I had one in each bathroom and one in the kitchen and I just tossed them all in the trash and bought some with stainless pumps for similar price

Dont waste your money
Really disappointed with this soap dispenser. I bought two matching ones, one for hand soap and one for lotion. The lotion dispenser still looks perfectly fine, but the soap dispenser has completely corroded around the pump. The finish is peeling off and there’s bright green/blue corrosion all over it. It looks awful and I definitely don’t feel comfortable continuing to use it for something that’s dispensing soap onto my hands. For something specifically sold as a soap dispenser, the pump should be made from a material that can actually withstand regular hand soap. Love the look of the bottle, but the quality of the pump is terrible.

Stopped working after 4 months
I’ve purchased a set of these and this one as well and have had problems with all three. I returned the set and now I have to do the same for this one. It has stopped pumping soap and doesn’t work anymore. It’s only been almost 4 months since I’ve purchased. I like the way it looks but would not recommend the threshold oil can soap dispensers for this reason.

Dont buy
Works great for a couple months then pump no longer goes up when u push it down. So when I manually pull it up soap leaks out the stem of the pump which has now caused the silver to turn green. Don’t buy unless you want to have to replace it in a couple months
