Not emollient, dry finish
I used the old version of Regenerist Serum, Fragrance Free for many years and even have several bottles left in my stockpile. This version is much less emollient, less hydrating, and has a dry finish. The original formulation wasn't shiny and makeup went beautifully on top of it. I've noticed that Olay has added starch to this and some other moisturizers (e.g., Micro-Sculpting Cream), which accounts for the matte finish. Great for normal/oily skin types but a dewy finish is better for dry/very dry skin. One extra star for remaining fragrance free. I will not repurchase because it's not hydrating enough for dry skin. If Olay formulated a "dry skin" version of this product with increased amounts of emollients the holy grail would be back!

Bring Back the Old Serum
So sad they have gotten rid of the regenerist face gel serum for this higher priced nonsense. Why discontinue a tried and true product and then try to replace it with an inferior product and, insult to injury, charge more for it! I have been using olay for years and this is beyond irritating. Booooooo. So displeased. I guess it's time to move on from Olay.

Oily/greasy, doesn't absorb
I found this to be incredibly oily/greasy feeling on the skin. It never felt like it actually absorbed, but instead sat on the surface of my face & neck. Noticed no benefit after using the entire bottle, didn’t even feel more moisturized/hydrated. For the price point there are many, many better & more effective options. Will never repurchase.

If you're using one of our anti-aging products, you should see a visible reduction in fine lines, wrinkles and skin discoloration within 28 days of use. If you stop using a product, your skin will likely return to its previous condition. Regarding the product feeling greasy, this is sometimes caused by using too much product or one that is too moisturizing for your skin type. Please try using a little less moisturizer and massage it gently into your skin until it has been fully absorbed. If that doesn't help, try using a less hydrating version. For example, consider using a lotion. Olay Whip moisturizers are also a great choice. They provide a light-as-air finish without a sticky or greasy feeling. Beware has sparkles in it
I used this for years with good results, but now they changed it as they put sparkles in it. Now my face looks like glitter is on it, not a good look for an older women. I guess I’ll use it for my neck at night, but won’t purchase it again. Why do they always have to change stuff that you like?

My skin has an iridescent cast to it after applying this. Not quite glitter, but a sheen. Not what I expected. I threw it out. Won’t buy again. Don’t waste your money. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because it did not irritate my skin.

Caused Allergic Reaction
I waseft with red, dry blotches on my skin after use. I stopped using it and waited for my skin to clear. Tried the serum again and right away had dry, burning red blotches. I have been using the Olay Regenerist creams for years with no reaction and I like them a lot: not sure why the serum is different.

This is my favorite face moisturizer - it has a mild, pleasant scent and it works really well. It makes my skin look brighter and healthier with just a few uses. I have sensitive skin, freckles and I wear makeup daily. I use it once a day after a shower to lock in moisture. It soaks in quickly, isn’t oily, feels very smooth when applied, and layers easily under my makeup without any issues. I like that is fragrance free, but other than that is an average product. It opened my pores in the first use, they look so large. And the ingredients listed are wrong. I can’t return this product. So I will use it. But I do not like it. Olay used to have good products. But now I going back to Clinique.

Helps remove dark spots
My friend suggested me this product. I had acne problem for long time. In only 2 weeks, I can see my skin is clearing up and dark spots are fading away. Product is so light and face feels smooth. Love this product.
