Yet another can of Refried Black Beans that does not appear to contain any black beans. There were a few whole beans and they definitely looked like Pinto Beans and not Black Beans. The product looks nothing like the packaging. I have been getting these beans for a number of years and the product definitely changed as the last 4 cans I have purchased have been the new product. They are lighter in color and taste significantly different. If the change is intentional and not a labeling error, it is definitely a change for the worse.

The change you made to the Black Refried Beans is downright nasty. The texture and taste are off, snd the beans aren’t even black. It seriously looks like a can of dog food.

the beans aren’t black anymore. i buy these because i don’t really like pinto beans and i thought the one can i opened was a fluke. opened three more and they were all the same. i’m very disappointed and i won’t purchase these anymore.

The last two cans I bought recently are not black beans. Let everyone know when you actually start selling the black beans again. Won't buy again until I know for sure they are black beans again. I don't recommend them as is.

We always buy black refried beans as it is our preference. Opened this can and despite what the label says, there were no black refried beans to be found. Instead traditional refried beans were inside. Super disappointing.

Not black beans inside can! We have bought the refried black beans for years and loved them. The most recent cans we have bought have not had black beans inside. I reached out to Old El Paso with concern about the wrong item being in the can along with all can info I had had and they came back and wanted more info on the can that has already been thrown away and honestly, they didn’t seemed concerned at all that the can had the wrong item in it. They need to address this issue immediately as clearly there has been a problem with this item based on recent reviews and it’s a safety concern to not know what you are putting in your cans.

Packaging red beans - that are barely refried no less - as refried black beans is called fraud. This is at least the 5th can I've bought that did not contain what was advertised on the label. I will be opening a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the FDA.

This is the sixth time this has happened, but we have bought the refried black beans and in the can has been NOT. BLACK. BEANS. 1 out of the last 7 cans we have purchased have been the actual black beans. The rest have been red beans. And i am so mad.

The new recipe is too much of a puree or a paste. It is too thin. Needs to be a similar consistency as the old recipe. Also lacks flavor compared to the old recipe.

Just bought the "new recipe" All I can say is it had so much onion powder it almost caused me to cry..(Yes I am exaggerating. But just a little) I could smell the onion powder over everything else they need a better balance. I get it for the bean taste not the onion taste.
