Olive & June Gel Nail Polish - 0.46 fl oz

I never used gel polish before this brand and it’s so easy. Got this color to try French tips. I’ll update with a photo if it turns out.

Shade: The Queen Takes Her Tea With Milk Love! I had an allergic reaction at the nail salon a couple of weeks ago despite voicing a HEMA allergy, so I have been on the hunt for a HEMA-free gel. I purchased this shade as a trial run and love it! The brush is tapered and allows for nice application around the cuticle area to avoid flooding, and glides on like a dream. Will def be buying other shades!

This is the first gel I’ve ever used on myself! I did the peel off base (only putting it in the center of the nail as directed). So far all my nails have done really well except one (I got the peel off base coat too close to the tip of my nail and it peeled). But it was easy to remove and redo. I did struggle getting thin coats, I feel like it applies pretty thick but I’m sure I just need more practice. Over all very easy to use, especially considering I’ve only done it once. Love this color! It feels like a good shade for fall!

Beautiful rosy color and goes great with my skin tone! Easily lasted about 7 days and looked flawless.

Overall, I am not impressed with this nail system. For the price and social media hype, I was expecting a much better product. The product does not last even a week. It chips easily. It's very thin and does not apply evenly. My nails don't feel stronger either. I think there are other better nail systems out there. I would pass and spend your money on a better system.

I have been doing my own gel nails for almost two decades now and never have I had polish fall off the nail from literally SLEEPING. This product is awful. I plan to return. I can't have my color falling off throughout the day and looking unprofessional. So ridiculous.

The texture and application of this was like applying snot on my nails… I’m sure I either got a dud or this was used/returned/damaged

Spent a lot of time trying to get it to cure under the light and it won’t. Other reviews said similar on Redit.

I bought the entire Olive and June system along with the peel off base coat and clear top coat. I had a gel manicure at a shop and loved how long lasting it was and was hoping to recreate it at home for cheaper. Sadly I couldn’t have gotten farther away from what I wanted. Despite following the instructions exactly and curing every thin layer carefully, it started peeling off literally within two hours of application, just from normal living. Forget any kind of cleaning or dish washing; that took the rest of them off right away. I had to redo the entire thing the next day. I tried one more time in case it was a fluke and had the same results. Now I’m out $30+ for the three different bottles of polish required and I can’t even use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I use this specific color, it yellows after about 7 days. Makes me look like I have a fungus or something. It doesn't all stay the same color throughout the nail, certain parts yellow and certain parts appear translucent. Very strange.

I bought a few different colors. Some were too thick and gloopy to apply in thin coats (which is the best way to cure gel polish). I returned those without even attempting them. The polish that I kept doesn't really match the bottle color. "Obsessed" looks like a VERY dark purple red in the bottle, but is much lighter and more red once applied. If you look at the review photos, the review by "Cmar" is a very accurate visual. Application was okay and curing went well. Just make sure you have an LED lamp.

This was worse than the play nail polish you can buy for kids. It never dried right & looked like it was melting off my nails. I was able to wipe it off w a paper towel after 20 minutes bc it was still wet. Truly bizarre. Will be returning. Essie Pencil Me In is the same color & much nicer

Like so many others, I initially couldn’t get this polish to cure. I was using the olive & June uv light and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working after 5 minutes of curing. While it was still sticky, I used a cotton ball with acetone to try to remove it. I was shocked when the color started and the stickiness was gone!! I tried another coat at sure enough that’s the trick! You must use a UV light and try some acetone after curing each coat.

Nice bottle and application, 3 hours later it still wasn’t dry. I tried adding a fast dry, that made it worse and messed up the first application. I tried starting with Elle base coat, that didn’t help.

I used a UV lamp to try and cure it like it says on the bottle but it never actually cured even after putting it under the lamp 5 times. I would touch the nail to see if it was fully cured and the color was still coming off on my fingers. And the color obsessed looks nothing like the bottle, it is way brighter on the nail and I was expecting a deep dark red color. Would not recommend.

Glittery, almost iridescent, transparent white.

LOVE this color! this has become my go-to color. It completments other colors perfectly and it the best fall shade.

Liked the color and was very quick and easy to apply.

This gel lasts such a long time and I have yet to actually chip a gel mani from Olive & June. The one I got this time (Obsessed) is a wonderfully dark, vampy color and is perfect for the fall season.
