Olive & June Nail Polish - 0.46 fl oz

The color went from hot pink as ordered and faded within hours to pale pink color. Polish was clumpy when applying on first use.

The color is perfection BUT this polish is horrible. I paint my nails a lot and have used many brands. I have not had a polish take so so long to dry and still have dent marks. I even used the same brand’s fast dry topcoat. I paint my nails last night at 8pm. This morning the polish is still sort of malleable in the way that I can press my nail on it and it’ll leave a dent. I had to fix is temporarily by adding a top coat from a different brand this morning. It was also becoming gloopy in the bottle while I was applying.

I paint my nails very often and have always loved Olive and June colors. However, this color fades into a cream color within one day of being in the sun. You can see it slowly fade over time, like within hours. I’ve tried with different top coats and it still happens. I’ve never had this happen with any nail polish before! Such a waste of time and I really wanted to like this color too.

I love Olive & June nail polish and grabbed the new color Cockatoo as a bit of a brighter and more fun pink for summer. Love that Olive & June lasts without chipping and is easy to apply.

I want to like this brand but my polish after a day or two fades. It starts off electric pink and 48 hour later fades into a sickly bubble gum pink.

Gorgeous color…initially! While I like the ethics of the brand, my nails changed color becoming a very pale pink after being out in the sun and pool for two days. Therefore- while I love it- I won’t be using it all summer.

Beautiful nail polish color, when first applied. This color faded into a light bubble-gum tone within 48 hours. Never had a nail polish do this. Been doing home manicures for years and this surprised me. I use top coat from line and it’s great so I decided to try the polish. I will be returning.

I applied 2 coats Hot Strawberry with 1 coat Super Glossy Top Coat. It’s a beautiful hot pink in the bottle, but faded to a pale pinky coral after 2 days. Disappointing.

The polish applied great, but the weirdest thing happened. The color totally faded after a few days to a very pale pink. I never had this happen before with any polish. Bizarre.

This color faded in the sun to a dull peach. I thought it was a fluke and repainted my nails and it happened again. Very disappointing as I am a long time Olive and June fan.

Chips within a day even following tutorials. White color is pretty though.

Simply put, poor quality all around. Does all the do nots of polishing. Just get the good stuff, you’ll use more time and money trying to be pretty honey…

For being only a few dollars cheaper than an Essie polish, spend the extra money. The polish I bought had very low color concentration. I had to put 3 coats on just so you couldn't see my nail through the color. I'm not super impressed.

I got the GH color. Love the light pink shade and love that you can’t see through it, with 2 coats, but it does not go in smooth at all and it does not dry quickly. Probably won’t purchase this brand again.

Pretty color but unfortunately for me it didn’t brush on smooth- super streaky looking on my nails. Chipped easily too.

Great everyday color, gives my hands a classy look! Really shows off my silver jewelry!

I just finished painting my fingernails an hour ago, so I cannot tell you how this polish will withstand regular wear and tear, washing my hands and dishes, and gardening. I plan to update this review in a couple of days though. I used 2 coats of Olive & June “Hot Strawberry”, little touches of Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri Holo-Glow “Euphoric”, and then a top coat of CQ “Crystal Clear”. In all reality, my nails looked great after just the one coat of the hot strawberry, but me being me I had to put another coat on. Next time I’ll do that. The smell is pretty strong, but I was painting my nails in the 2 car garage without ventilation. After I finished doing one hand I opened up the door the get some air flow. The brush is wide and I really like that. Many of my nail polishes have skinny brushes making it harder to get even lines. So far, so good. Hopefully the color doesn’t chip and it lasts awhile. TIP: Wash your hands (or feet) well using soap in order to wash any dirt and oils off your nail bed - I find my polish sticks on better that way. By the way, I’m 50 years old. This pink color doesn’t feel like it’s too young for me. 😁

My favorite brand of polish and I love this color. If you are a devotee to another brand’s Ballet Slipper, then this is a good match for a polish that wears a lot longer.
