These protein bars are very dense. They have a nice maple flavor that is not too overpowering. They contain 20 grams of protein per bar and only 1 gram of sugar. I would absolutely suggest these bars if you are interested in a delicious, good quality protein bar.

All ingredients are healthy with a balanced amount of sweetness which is also derived from the ingredients no sugar it has. Texture is chewy. And packaging also just right.

I was really excited to try this protein bar because I am always trying to uptake my protein intake. The Maple Glazed Doughnut Protein Bar was very intriguing. I was really hopeful because it has 20 grams of protein in one bar. That is a lot of protein in my opinion. I opened the wrapper thinking it would taste like a sweet breakfast treat, but it did not. The texture was very dry and it was to the point where I felt like I needed water with every bite. I usually don’t mind protein bars being a little dense, but this one really crumbled and stuck to my mouth in a way that made it hard to enjoy. The flavor was extremely strong, almost overwhelmingly sweet. However is was not in a natural or bakery style taste. It didn’t really remind me of a maple doughnut. It was more like a concentrated artificial flavor that lingered. I still made myself finish the whole bar but it was mostly because I didn’t want to waste the protein. It definitely wasn’t something I looked forward to finishing. By the end, I was more relieved to be done with it than satisfied. I’ll give it credit for the protein content, but based on the taste and texture alone, it’s not a bar I would purchase. It was just okay, and I wouldn’t buy another one in the future. If your are looking for a protein bar that tastes meh but packs in a ton of protein, this may be for you.

I was sent a bar that seemed to have been partially melted and flattened. I can taste the glazed maple doughnut flavor, but the bar was quite chewy and had that chalky protein taste. I do like that it has 20g of protein and only 1g of sugar. I've enjoyed other products from ONE, so I wonder if I would've enjoyed it more had the bar been in it's original state.

It didn’t have that chalky texture that most protein bars have either! Best part, it’s a quick way to get your protein in, in the morning.

You might need water depending on how quickly you are chewing through this. I took my time and didn’t feel the need to rush for a sip of water which means it wasn’t drying. It is dense but also I would have wished the protein was higher than the carb count on this. Other than that it was pleasant.
