Directions take 1 tablet at the same time every day, this product will work best to prevent pregnancy when taken exactly as directed, you can start on any day of the month, use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex during the first 2 days of use (48 hours) after you start your first pack of this product, because it takes 2 days for this product to start working, See the enclosed leaflet for more information on how to switch from another contraceptive method., never skip your daily tablet, to prevent pregnancy, take this product every day, even when you bleed or have spotting, when you finish this pack, start the next one the following day without a break, if you are more than 3 hours late taking your tablet or miss taking your tablet on 1 or more days: take 1 tablet immediately, as soon as you remember that you missed it, then go back to taking your daily tablet at your usual time, use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex during the next 2 days (48 hours), because it takes 2 days for this product to start working again, if you vomit for any reason or have severe diarrhea within 4 hours of taking your daily tablet, use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex for the next 2 days (48 hours), because the medicine may not have been fully absorbed, you should continue to see your healthcare provider(s) for routine healthcare visits, When to use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex for the next 2 days (48 hours): after you start your first pack of this product, if you take a tablet more than 3 hours late or miss a tablet on 1 or more days, if you vomit or have a severe diarrhea within 4 hours of taking a tabletOther information

A: Hi, thank you for your question about Opill®. Opill® is only indicated for pregnancy prevention and not to stop periods. Every pill in the pack has the same dose. For Opill® to be most effective, take one tablet at the same time every day, and no later than 3 hours from the time you took your tablet the day before.

A: Not sure what you mean by reliable, but I think it's a very good brand. Switched to this brand 2 months ago and already tell a nice difference. Always take at same time every day, more info on their website. As long as you're being responsible, it's very "reliable"

A: Opill should only be used until the end of the month of the printed expiration date. We base our expiration dates on stability testing on various packaging configurations. The expiration dates are set so that all specifications are still met at the end of shelf life.

i've only been taking it for one week and my anxiety is worse than its been in 5 years. i constantly feel on edge, my chest is tight, on the verge of tears. it's also incredibly diappointing that the pamphlet doesn't have detailed instructions on how to stop taking it- like how long after unprotected sex. i can't wait to finish this course and never use this product again.

Great for limited side effects. Maybe a little breast tenderness, that was all, however, I am bleeding, before I should be, up to twice a month?! I got this birth control out of convenience, but now I am going to by going back to my Gyno, and getting back on my previous birth control. Full blown periods, when you’re not supposed to be having them at that time, is a deal breaker.

i've been taking the Opill for 7 months daily, hoping to regulate my period, but it has just made it come more infrequently. for the past 7 months i've gotten my period every OTHER WEEK. i've stayed consistent to this medication hoping that SOMETHING would regulate and now ive got an apt at the gyno to start literally any other birth control that wont make me feel like this

I've been on it for almost two months now, and it has caused me to have two periods each month. The price isn't that bad, and it is easily accessible, but it catches up in the amount of money that I now need to spend on more period products.

You cannot beat the convenience and peace of mind you get with this product. I have the six month automatic refill and have been using it since it became available and haven't experienced a single side effect (and, it works!). I know birth control is different for everyone but I couldn't be happier that an OTC b.c. pill was finally approved. Being able to take full control of your reproduction is something that probably allows a lot of women to be able to sleep better at night. I am 100% satisfied with Opill.

Not sure if it’s because of the Opill but 6months ago when I started taking it I’ve lost 30 lbs in 5-6 months. Being a healthy 135-140 I am now between 107-112lbs. But the only change that I have made is taking the opill. Since I’ve stopped almost a week now and I’ve noticed my appetite slowly increasing but no weight gain. Still not sure if that’s the whole reason tho but wanted to put this up incase anybody else had the same problem.

Opill is a pretty good pill. Opill is my 9th birth control that I've tried since I was 18 and I'm about to be 24. Opill is the only pill that I can tolerate and side effects go away pretty quickly and is nothing too bad to not handle. I'm about to start pill pack 2 on Sunday, July 20th. I'm pretty impressed with this pill brand. I will definitely continue to update my review every , but month. I don't know about pregnancy prevention with it just yet, but I always take my Opill on time and every day

I decided to try Opill and the plus side is: it worked- no babies. But I found myself CONSTANTLY bleeding, so I decided to stop. I thought the bleeding was the worst part but boy, oh boy, was I wrong… I’ve been off of Opill for 10 days now and the withdrawals have put me into the WORST depressive and emotional state I’ve been in in YEARS. I’m constantly sobbing for no apparent reason, I find myself getting more temperamental and angry over little things. Overall: if I’m not feeling emotionally numb, I feel like a LIVEWIRE and I hate it. I don’t even feel like myself anymore and my anti-anxiety meds don’t even help in the slightest to regulate things. This was just my personal experience. Everyone’s body is going to react differently but personally, I will not be going back to Opill ever again.

i’ve been using opill for about 6 months and i have no complaints. yes i’ve been using it as a contraceptive, but it’s vastly changed the way i feel about my period. whereas before i was using the shot, which caused my period to be not only impossible to track but could be up to three weeks of bleeding and pain, opill has regulated my period and shortened it from a week and a half (before i started any form of birth control) to two to three days. so if you’re looking for a birth control just for period regulation, i’d highly recommend opill

I have been taking this for over a year, the first couple months i loved it! Had no side effects, no weight gain, headaches , nothing! But after a few months it caused me to have severe depression , irritability, mood swings. Ive never been one to have depression and now im battling with depression and anxiety.

The good thing about this: my sex drive has lowered a lot and it helps me out with not getting pregnancy scares! The bad thing about this: why are my periods coming twice a month now? It used to only come every 2 months. Now it's all the time just about!!! Will it stop?
