Directions

Directions take 1 tablet at the same time every day, this product will work best to prevent pregnancy when taken exactly as directed, you can start on any day of the month, use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex during the first 2 days of use (48 hours) after you start your first pack of this product, because it takes 2 days for this product to start working, See the enclosed leaflet for more information on how to switch from another contraceptive method., never skip your daily tablet, to prevent pregnancy, take this product every day, even when you bleed or have spotting, when you finish this pack, start the next one the following day without a break, if you are more than 3 hours late taking your tablet or miss taking your tablet on 1 or more days: take 1 tablet immediately, as soon as you remember that you missed it, then go back to taking your daily tablet at your usual time, use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex during the next 2 days (48 hours), because it takes 2 days for this product to start working again, if you vomit for any reason or have severe diarrhea within 4 hours of taking your daily tablet, use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex for the next 2 days (48 hours), because the medicine may not have been fully absorbed, you should continue to see your healthcare provider(s) for routine healthcare visits, When to use a condom (or another barrier method) every time you have sex for the next 2 days (48 hours): after you start your first pack of this product, if you take a tablet more than 3 hours late or miss a tablet on 1 or more days, if you vomit or have a severe diarrhea within 4 hours of taking a tablet

  • A: Not sure what you mean by reliable, but I think it's a very good brand. Switched to this brand 2 months ago and already tell a nice difference. Always take at same time every day, more info on their website. As long as you're being responsible, it's very "reliable"

Totally recommend!

I’ve been using the opill for almost 2 years and let me tell you the only reason I’ve had a pregnancy scare is because STRESSS. But the Opill still has yet to fail me! Highly recommended. It does not mess with my period in a negative way or my mood/well being.

I did not like Opill at all. It's easy to access since it's over the counter, but Opill gave me 2 heavy periods every month and those periods were extremely painful. I could only take Opill for a few months and then I had to quit. I switch to Nexplanon arm implant and it's the only birth control I've been able to tolerate

Not pregnant

It worked I didnt get pregnant on opill (I was also using a condom as well for the most part bc I really dont wanna get pregnant now) my only issue with it is that it worked too well. I lost my libido on it and even after being off of it for about 4 months now its still very low. I didnt experience any other side effects besides my period always being one day late but either way nothing harmful just kinda sucked being on it. I would try it for yourself my friend loves it so its different for everyone!

experienced side effects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i really like the fact that its over the counter but i have to admit im one of the people that experienced the side effects. i was hesitant to try this mainly because of my mood but i honestly dont think it had an affect on my mood. i did experience some weight gain though, nothing drastic just a couple pounds. i also experienced terrible period cramps, like horrible. my rating is just based off of my personal experience, but im very glad this is so accessible to others!

Broke me out

On the fence…

Have taken combination pills my whole life and was relieved that I could change to something over the counter. I notice less water retention with Opill which is great too. The main drawback for me is the delicacy of this pill. Maybe my body chemistry is just too strong for it or something but I have been regularly bleeding every 3 weeks from the day that my period last stopped even taking it exactly at the right time. The combo pill was great at eliminating my period reliably. I know there’s an adjustment period with the changes in pills but it’s a struggle and I have a feeling my period will not cease as I want it to. Also, do not drink grapefruit AT ALL with this. I had a grapefruit Spindrift (grapefruit sparkling water) and BAM, spotting turned to full on bleeding in a matter of hours. This pill is not for the fickle. Taking it religiously at the same time of day is imperative, so anyone forgetful will soon become regretful if they’re late to take the pill and either start bleeding after a few hours or get pregnant. One must be diligent on this pill. I’ve taken 4 packets now and am sure if the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

Tried the 1 month first and it went well with minor side effects such as slight headaches here and there. Bought the 3 month supply next and recently my period has become irregular :( wanted to see if it would also help with my hormonal acne and it helped for a little bit.

Convenient OTC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s convenient, easy to take, and a great OTC option for those wanting a simple BC method without a Rx. No noticeable side effects for me, so far. The only thing to stay mindful is taking it at the same time of day, every day for best effectiveness, but otherwise it’s been a solid, hassle-free option. No smell.

I recommend !

I've been on opill since January, I'm reviewing this in April ! First two weeks I did experience some sode effects like sleepiness and lasting headaches but they eventually went away. As far as my period, I do still have it but it's irregular - that can be a bit of a annoyance but I'd rather deal with that than pregnancy!

I appreciate this BC

I've been on this for almost a year now, extremely effective. I've tried them almost all except the IUD. This one makes my breasts hurt once a week a month and the first month on it I was bleeding strangely but I got it under control. I feel better than I ever have and it's very affordable. Not accidents! Thank you so much for making something that I can actually use!

Heavy period can be expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been taking these daily oral contraceptives for three months now and they function pretty much like any oral contraceptive although this one specifically asks you to take it at the same time every day, which can be tricky if you have a busy schedule so I highly recommend picking a time that works for you and setting an alarm to be consistent. I also want to note that my period has been noticeably heavier which is normal for the medication but just be aware you might need to size up if you’re used to a light flow. Also, I’m not pregnant so I can confidently say they’re effective when taken as directed.
