A: the wooden pieces of the toy are connected to the background. the background is sticky, similar to the peel and stick wall papers or Command Brand strips that are commonly used for photo hanging.

Great toy! LOs find it entertaining but it doesn’t add to clutter and more toys on the floor! I wish there was info on buying a 2nd “car”. When I put it up, I actually partially unpeeled it from the wall a few times to get it straight. Didn’t have a problem unpeeling & it still sticks great, no problem over a month later.
