Ortho GroundClear Vegetation Killer Concentrate - Case of 4 - 1 gal

Over time several longer weeds from their yard began to creep into the far side of our lawn and it made ours look cheap and unkept. A quick few uses of this product and the problem seemed under control! Thankful this works and would recommend for unwanted weeds.

The wife loves the easy to use wand. Makes it super convenient to just pickup and touch up the beds. Will keep using it for sure.

It’s super easy to use. He loves that the pump is battery powered which makes getting the job done less of a strain than using the old pump sprayers. When using the sprayer it also gives out a consistently even lining of the product which is also a plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy to use non-selective general herbicide that kills pretty much anything it touches. It comes with a push button wand with the battery included. Just take it out of the holder, connect the hose to the bottle, unfold the nozzle and adjust the spray pattern based on whatever suits your needs. This is a lot easier to apply than manually using a squeeze sprayer. The weeds started dieing within a day and fully died within a few days.

It was my first time using a vegetation killer and I was unsure of how to attach the sprayer to the bottle. The port where it attaches turns like it is locking and unlocking but is not labeled. There are multiple pages of warnings attached but no directions. Once I figured it out, it was fairly simple to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been about a month or a bit more since using the Ortho® GroundClear® Year Long Vegetation Killer all over the outside steps and walkway outgrowth of my house. Once sprayed the weeds died off very very quickly. The weeds are now slowly starting to grow back in a few spots. I very well could've used a bit less in those areas versus the areas that are still weed free. That has been my general downfall on most products is they aren't a permanent solution and generally stated. Winter is upon us shortly so I will spray those areas again and see what spring brings us as far as the ultimate results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this out on a berm where we have ground barrier and mulch, yet weeds and grass are starting to poke through. Basically it is not a solid field of vegetation--just the occasional stalks coming through. The jug and spray dispenser are very convenient--the jug is easy to carry, and the handle folds in half. The battery is already installed, and ready to use. The trigger is nice and light, not causing any cramping during a prolonged spray session. It folds back neatly and tucks into the built in storage slot for the handle. I applied this according to instructions on a day where there would be no watering or rain for several days afterwards, and at first it appeared to work well. But several days later I noticed that there were still green portions, and that the first application did not complete the job. After a second application and several days later, the grass and weeds have browned thoroughly. Works well, but just know you may need to follow up with another application.

I loved that it came with the sprayer so I didn't have to purchase a sprayer just for the killer! It made my husband's job a lot easier than chopping digging and such!

I have tried so many other vegetation killers and all of them disappointed. This stuff comes with a good sprayer that is easy to use. The best part? It actually works. In a matter of 12 hours, I started to see die back. I would say in about 3 days, everything was dead. That is with one spraying. I am happy with this vegetation killer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having a hard time getting this to work and discovered you should spray AFTER it rains. I sprayed it in my gangway because very thick vines grow out of the rocks. Trying to pull them out is pointless because the roots are so strong, the plant just snaps. After an hour, they started looking really pathetic but were still thriving 24 hours later. I sprayed more and it didn't seem to help. I also didn't use it after it rained because I thought it would be wasteful. It's not! See pictures! If you're having a drought (like I am), you need to wet your weeds down first! The battery powered pump makes spraying a breeze. What a great invention. My small test area took less than a minute compared to the weed killer with the hand pump. This alone is worth it! I took off a star because it didn't put a dent in the pokeweed. Unfortunately, they pop up everywhere and have roots that run all the way to China. It works great on grass/small weeds growing out of the cracks in the cement. Works even better if you weed wack first. If it lasts an entire year, it's totally worth it.

I applied the GroundClear on a hot full sun day and saw results within an hour of application. I plan on using Ortho GroundClear every spring/ summer going forward!

This year we have received a ton of rain so "I needed a product like yours to control a bunch of weeds". So far it has been a great product killing everything that I needed to kill. I hope the year long thing works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ortho Groundclear Year Long Vegetation Killer worked super fast. In a matter of hours after applying the weeds were wilting and dying. With just one treatment, the weeds around our garage were dead and did not grow back over the past month. I'm not sure if this will last a year like it says but so far what died is not growing back and this is after one month. I'm quite satisfied with the performance of this vegetation killer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this weed killer back in early August, and I'm so happy that I did. We have a huge grape vine that we can walk underneath. It's hard to mow down the weeds under it for the vine hangs almost to the dirt, and if we cut the vine while it's green it could cause it to bleed and die. Yes certain greenery when cut can cause a lot of damage to the vines. My husband got smart and sprayed under the grape vine with Ortho ground clear year long vegetation. I am so glad he did because we have been able to go out and pick grapes and be able to see where we walk. Best thing we could have ever done. I'm anxious to see if it does last a year. So far it's lasted almost 6 weeks. That's impressive within itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weed killer is good, but the battery powered spray handle is great. It’s easy to use and light. The lock button is good to it safer around children. It sprays evenly and consistently. It never clogged while using the entire bottle. To be even better it needs a way to lock it in the on position to keep your hand from getting tired when using it for long periods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this to the weeds in my gravel driveway as I have with similar products. A week later, about 25% of the weeds remained. I don't know what weeds they are referring to that show results in one hour. Apparently they are not common in New England driveways. I reapplied the product more liberally and had closer to 95% kill. The applicator is great. So much better than the old trigger sprayer design and less work than my pump sprayer. I cannot yet vouch for the Year Long feature, but I recommend giving all your weeds a thorough application so you hopefully don't reapply as I did.
