I always buy the defender cases for my cell phones and my Ipad. There is no better protection than Otter Box defender cases. Highly recommend.

Perfect and necessary accessory for an IPad, helps you hold the thing and protects the glass. I remove the screen protector and I can’t imagine using my pad without it. Have bought several.

This Defender case comes with the screen protector. The case is outstanding! My iPad is completely protected. The screen is responsive and the screen protector is easy to clean. Does it add some size and weight to the iPad. Yes, but for the protection it affords, the difference is minimal. Do yourself a favor and protect your iPad. These “toys” are not cheap and while the trade-off is their portability, that comes with the price of being fragile. The Defender Case does the job! Well done. My only suggestion is different color choices. My wife says it too manly and not girly enough.

A bit difficult to get to buttons . It’s great otherwise.

Had an IPad Air in Otterbox. Loved it. Upgraded to 9th Gen and bought the new Otterbox. I do not like the new home screen button. A clear plastic sticky tab? Really? Previous had a soft home button. Charge plug port cover can’t be opened when ipad is locked in its stand. Previous version swung open from opposite side and worked well. I’m going to shop for a different case vendor.

Can be a little hard to pull protective case off at times.

Yes. I set my iPad on the hood of my truck. Went back in the house for my phone and forgot about my iPad. I have an Otterbox defender. We will got onto I-10 and heard a thump on the windshield. Looked back and saw my iPad bounce across the highway and landed on the yellow line on the berm. Went to next exit, came back and it was face down and the iPad was perfect. The otterbox got a scratch on the screen and cracked the frame but it saved my iPad. Thank yo for a great product.

It’s a good case for protecting the iPad. The instructions were very vague and really small. It was difficult to figure out how to take it apart for installation. Not even YouTube had a video for this case. The plastic screen protector, I tore it out, useless. The case for the case as a stand is good for viewing when sitting at a table.

The case is okay, but the built in screen protector is terrible, the way it’s integrated into one of the layers of the case means there’s no way to install it separately in a way that DOESNT cause air bubbles and rainbow rings. Instead I have to put up with visibility problems from this dumb, cheap, piece of plastic

I received mine a few weeks ago. First of all it was very difficult to figure out as it had no instructions. I agree with what you're thinking, I didn't think it would need instruction either, but trust me, you do. I had to watch YouTube videos to figure it out. Also, I very much dislike the two piece system. After years of opening up my iPad and just folding the cover piece in back of it, now I have to unsnap the cover piece, which isn't easy, and set it aside. That is not convenient at all. After using it for a few weeks I have confirmed my dislike of this system. I now find myself NOT wanting to use my iPad due to the inconvienience of that snap on, seperate piece for the cover. I want the protectiveness this item offers, but I want it to be easier to use. There has to be a better way. Would I buy again? No I wouldn't. I'm still not convinced I want to keep it. Would I recommend it to friends/family? Absolutely not.

Been using this Defender Case for my iPad 9 Generation for several months and am VERY impressed. Love the screen protector and have no issues with it interfering with my iPad functions. A lot of thought went into this design...the protective corners, lightning port cover, various cut outs, snap on cover that also functions as a stand, etc. Watched video first so installation was easy and yes it's a tight fit, just as it should be. Fits iPad 9 perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I wanted. The iPad is too thin and difficult to pickup - it is slick. i was concerned that I would drop it. The case adds the right amount of texture and grip to easily grab it without dropping. It is also still thin enough to sit nicely on the stand I had purchased earlier. I do not use the turtle shell with stand yet but can see using it on trips.

I have been using Otterbox Defender Series cases throughout the many years that I have owned many Apple iPhones and iPads and each one has always provided outstanding protection. I have dropped each countless times and the cases always have done an outstanding job of protecting the phones and tablets without damage to either. And Otterbox's warranty service has been terrific in the replacement of anything that ever needs replacing should the need arise. Although seemingly expensive, you get what you pay for and the quality of an Otterbox product never disappointed. Well worth the money for the level of protection provided.

Sturdy, dependable. It does protect my iPad. If I drop it, nothing breaks. It's the same with my OtterBox for my phone.

Great durable case but annoying that the piece on the right continuously pops off, I guess if you have a pen attached it’s functional
