Q: My daughter’s new camper isn’t making any sounds….where is the battery compartment located so I can change the batteries?

A: Hi Molly. Please make sure to change the switch from the Try Me/Off mode to the Play mode for all the sounds and functions to work. The battery compartment and switch are on the inside of the truck near the brake pedal. Thank you. The Battat Team

Q: I recently purchased this item. The windshield wipers do NOT work - no noise and no movement. The button is switched to "on" and not the "try me" option. There is no tape adhered to the van.

Gave this to my daughter last week for her 6th birthday and she hasn’t stopped playing with since then! She loves it. Has lots of fun accessories and ways to play. We figured out (it’s also in the instruction booklet) that you must turn the switch from “demo” to “on” to keep the buttons/noises working. The switch is down near the gas pedals. Love this camper!

My daughter truly wanted this item and wanted her to have it as well. But what is very disappointing is I had to go to multiple stores to purchase and return this item more than once due to all of the damages it endured at multiple store locations. Don’t understand how that is possible, but it happened. Very stressful to purchase something that should have been readily available and not damaged at each store. Then this item was not even available online. Truly disappointing.

The windshield wipers don't work. And how can I return this? My daughter has already started playing with it and I can't just take it away. So, I guess I paid for something that only partly works.

To get the windshield wipers working, you just have to flip the switch on the bottom of the camper from "Try It" to "On". Hi Lee40 - Thank you for your feedback. When you say that the windshield doesn't work - do you mean the windshield wipers? We want to be sure that you turned the switch from "Try Me" to "On". That might do the trick. The switch in on the bottom of the camper.

My daughter paid $150 for this herself from her birthday money. Got home, started unwrapping & un cutting everything, putting it in its place & realized there was No refrigerator door. You could tell nothing had been messed with so it was like it was never put on at manufacturers. Emailed company & they said they would not send one to exchange. We would have done that before emailing company, if that target would have had another one But we bought the only one in the store! It’s a shame to spend $150 on plastic & not receive everything you are suppose to!

This has everything you would want in a camper, however the top does NOT come off like the food truck and ice cream truck making it hard to reach inside to play with the stove and sink. Additionaly, the window opens up but it sticks out so far making it even harder to play with the stove inside. You have to reach 24 inches just to get to the stove. So I prefer the food truck and the ice cream truck because the top opens up making it easy for my son and I too play with the stove and the stuff inside.

Adorable camper but extremely strange that there is a hole/insert space for the camp fire but the fire pit accessory is NOT included. Child was disappointed and very confused. She believes the fire pit is missing from the camper and cannot understand that although there is a hole for it the fire pit was not supposed to be included. To be honest I can’t quite wrap my head around it either. Otherwise an awesome toy with great quality and extremely cute.

Daughter wanted this for Christmas and managed to catch it on sale with the additional 25% off toy discount. However, even with all the discounts, i don’t feel this item is worth the price. Daughter (and son) loves it. There are a lot of fun features and accessories and it’s large enough that little hands can play with it easily. However, the wipers don’t work at all and some features are finicky with holding up through play. They still enjoy it but as a parent who paid for it, the price isn’t justified.

The overall design is cute and the accessories are nice. But it is just very cheaply made. So the accessories are already missing paint. The doors are really difficult to open and close. The swing up window falls down constantly while playing. The plastic is just soft and cheap. Our daughter is careful with toys but I don't expect this to last long.

I bought this for Christmas for my daughter and she was so incredibly happy until she realized there was a hole in the “camping section” and she couldn’t actually use it since the fire pit didn’t come with. Would’ve given a 5 star had we not searched high and low for it, especially since it was on the image attached to the RV.

The RV camper it self is cute and my 4 year old loves it! But only giving it 3 stars because only one of the front headlights works and the windshield wipers don’t work at all. A little disappointed because they advertise the extra features and half of them don’t work.
