Q: Is it safe to put water in the little tub part of the chair?

A: Technically you could and I have in the bathtub from OG. It is battery operated so cannot submerge the toy but adding a small amount of water could make it more enjoyable.

Our Generation dolls do not fit. Doll needs to be poseable. Not worth $50! Would like to return it but daughter seems to make it work and enjoys playing with.

Need to change batteries CONSTANTLY

I have no idea why, but I've had to change the batteries on this chair 5 times since Christmas. It's not even the end of January. The kicker: she maybe played with it 10x total- and one of the times i refused to put more batteries in it. She wanted this more than anything at Christmas and now it's become a constant reminder of how disappointing this gift was. I should have just bought an American girl doll and accessories. It's cute, but absolutely not worth the price you pay for it- OR the price it will continue to cost you having to replace the batteries every time they play with it.

This was such a wonderful surprice for my 9 year old daughter's birthday. She loves all things Barbie and this is Spa Day set was a must for her collection. It comes with all the supplies you would find at a real nail salon. Its more of a nail salon set for the spa than an all around Spa set just so you're aware!

I decided to surprise my daughter with this so she can play with her Our Generation dolls. She likes it but within a few minutes the handle that makes the sound like water is running broke off. It is not like I have a young child that broke it… she is 10 and takes very good care of her things. So while this is sometimes fun to play with there are a few issues with the sturdiness of the product especially when I paid $60 for it.

The chair is super cute, all the little accessories. The chair has cute sounds, even a spa like feature. The down side is the dolls don’t fit at all :(

Can't seat the dolls and have their feet in the foot bath. The accessory and doll are from the same product line. Why create an accessory that doesn't fit the doll?

This set is really cute and interactive. We like all the accessories and the spa music it plays. However, the chair does not fit the doll properly. The My Generation doll’s knees do not bend, so it cannot sit with feet in the foot bath. This toy was designed for this type of doll and is the same brand, which is frustrating and unfortunate.

I was right. She absolutely loves it . She doesn’t really want to pretend the other dollls are doing the pedicure so much as she wants to be the one doing them. It comes with all the little accessories needed, such as file and scrubber etc.. it comes eith a stool for the doll to sit on and the chair as a tray in arm piece that folds out just like real salon chairs! If your little girl loves going to the salon, she needs this set!
