A: Our Always Pan was designed to be compatible with all stovetops! Ideally, the ring on your stovetop is aligned with the center of the bottom (4.5 – 6 inches in diameter) to ensure a solid magnetic connection. Typically that means using the smallest burner if you've got an induction stove.

Q: Does the handle get hot when cooking on the stove top?

A: Yes, the small handle (we call it our "helper handle") is part of the same cast aluminum body as the Always Pan so it will definitely get hot. The long handle and knob of your cookware is constructed to minimize heat transfer, but are metal, so these may become hot during prolonged cooking or from radiant stovetop heat. Please use caution when removing lids or touching handles. Always use our Hot Grips or Hot Mitts (sold separately), or any oven mitt or towel when using the helper handle.

This pan is great at first, but the monstick wears off quickly. We have had two of these now, and both become noticeably less non-stick in under a year with moderate use and hand washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pans in June. This particular pan stained and the nonstick coating is no longer nonstick. I would have never bought these pans knowing they wouldn’t even last three months. We never cooked on high heat with it, followed care instructions and now we can’t even use the pan because everything sticks to it and it is horrid to try clean. You can see the staining in the photos, this was after spending 20 minutes of cleaning. All that was cooked in this pan was some sausage. So if you want to throw away money, buy the pan.

Best pan for sautéing and frying. Non-stick tech is best I have ever used. Some ethnic dishes I make used to be a struggle in former pans. The way food is browned without burning the pan is superb.
