A: Our Always Pan was designed to be compatible with all stovetops! Ideally, the ring on your stovetop is aligned with the center of the bottom (4.5 – 6 inches in diameter) to ensure a solid magnetic connection. Typically that means using the smallest burner if you've got an induction stove.

Q: Does the handle get hot when cooking on the stove top?

A: Yes, the small handle (we call it our "helper handle") is part of the same cast aluminum body as the Always Pan so it will definitely get hot. The long handle and knob of your cookware is constructed to minimize heat transfer, but are metal, so these may become hot during prolonged cooking or from radiant stovetop heat. Please use caution when removing lids or touching handles. Always use our Hot Grips or Hot Mitts (sold separately), or any oven mitt or towel when using the helper handle.

At first, I loved their sleek design and was willing to overlook the fact that the handles got hot enough to require oven gloves. I even thought they’d be my forever pans. But something changed—now, food sticks unless I use a lot of oil, and I find myself searching for replacements. Given that I’ve always hand washed them and stuck to wooden utensils, this decline is especially frustrating. Considering the price, I can only give them 3 stars.

This does a wonderful job with vegetables, meats, and eggs, whether frying, roasting, or baking. After many uses, the pan has retained its nonstick finish for the most part. We have experienced certain spots on the pan that will stick after using higher heat areas with our electric stovetop (despite using low), but a quick clean with baking soda and vinegar clears that up. Highly recommend this pan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the feel, and weight, and features, but the fact that I have to shove it in a drawer because it can't hang by the handle like every other pan I have ever owned, makes it not as convenient as other pans. after I sent my issue, the reply was hang it upside down by the lift handle, not. . . sadly I will not purchase the rest of the set, I don't have enough drawers in the kitchen.
