A: Joe's answer is wrong because the 28.97" width includes the sides, which need to be subtracted. Another person stated the width as 27.5", which makes more sense because a standard washer is 27" wide.

Easy to put together, not as solid as I would have thought, they are flimsy in that they will sway with any type of touch. Fine for now in getting my laundry area set up. Do ship in original package, mine arrived soaking wet (did not rain on delivery day). Box literally fell apart when opening. Surprised I didn’t lose any of the pieces.

Really love this thing!! First of all it’s almost impossible to find some similar… ESPECIALLY for this price (couldn’t find anything under $100). I needed storage and somewhere to hang damp clothes, & these really fit my needs. I bought one first to test it & liked it so much I went to order another one immediately but they were out of stock (luckily this was only the case for a few days) Also, notice they do work with a top loader as well. I could see where they may be a little unstable if they didn’t fit snugly over the machine, but that being said, in this location I was unable to anchor them to the wall so that could make a difference. I hate putting any type of furniture together but these were pretty easy & only took about an hour each.

You have to really take your time and pay attention when putting this together but the end result is great. It's level, doesn't wobble and I have multiple large bottles of detergent and fabric softener and there is no issue with the weight being supported.

When I purchased this item, I was worried it would not fit and would not have enough space for washer lid to open and stay open without holding lid. To my surprise it fit and still had an inch to spare. The 2 issue was that I was unable to anchor to wall due to base boards. The base boards were on the thicker side, so I could not get the stand flat against wall. I end of doing was pushing washer up against bars and wall. It seemed to work. The other issue was it was not as heavy duty as I would like, but it does work for what I needed it to do. Overall, I am happy with purchase.

Perfect! I was going to use it for my washer and dryer however, in the meantime until I move them, I put it over a small chest freezer that I have also bought a target and if it perfectly so that’s where I have it might go back and get two more for the actual washer and dryer since my units are in front of a huge window. I can’t have shelves or anything in this fit perfectly.

This fit beautifully over my dryer, but the vent in the back was in the way. It was fine this way, but I moved it over the top-loader washer and could push it further back against the wall. The lid opened and did not touch the shelf! The nicw, wooden bar at the top had more clearance this way. This was a great value. I loved how the poles were packed in bags that were labeled making assembly a breeze.
