Dont Bother
Unit was not easy to assemble with 1 person. The metal brackets were extremely thin and unit was shaky when we tried to move it into place. Didn’t feel comfortable putting my belongs on the shelves. Decided to take it apart and return it.

if you want to make 2 short selfs its perfect, but not 5 shelf
supper hard to attach the top half, the adapter to attach does not align with the bottom half, other than that its like any other storage unit, and it does come with a rubber mallet.

Flimsy and cheap
When I assembled the first of the 2 halves it was rock solid. Unfortunately it became very wobbly after moving it to where it needed to go. Hammering the rails to make sure they're seated properly didn't make a difference. During assembly, several of the connecting points on the arms bent with little effort, and it was challenging to remove them. I've held off on assembling the second half because I don't know if bending the arms back would weaken it enough to cause it to collapse. I have equipment on it that move and can move rapidly. The wood vibrates against the metal frame causing quite the racket. I wanted something cheap enough that could get the job done, but I wish I spent the extra money on a better product. Do not buy this.

Difficult to put together, looks great and is sturdy
Got this shelf because it was the right size for my space, however putting this thing together was extremely frustrating, the little knobs that are supporse to go into the holes to mallet them only actually fit about 1/2 the time as they weren't quite spaced correctly nor at times did they hav ean open area for the side piece to fit in. There are a couple pieces/bars that were just too defective to attach well at all but we banged them in there hard enough that I think it will hold. The connectors for the main legs are so so so annoying and makes no sense to create this piece this way. I love it when it was done but had I known how frustrating it was to put together I would have chosen another piece.

Buy Double of What You Need & Return What Is Broken
This is really only worth buying when it's discounted, despite that the finish that target's version has compared to other stuff available online or from other brick and mortars is nicer. However having bought several in both sizes offered. You really need to buy an extra one if you're purchasing one or two, because it's pretty much guaranteed that anywhere between 25% to 75% of the parts will come bent and be unusable, preventing you from completing assembly. Buy more than what you need so you can pull usable pieces from another set, and then return it with all your bent, unusable pieces. Target would not provide replacement pieces and instructed to buy another and return the damaged.

This was the most frustrating and difficult piece of DIY furniture I have ever assembled. It will test your patience and in the end will not be worth the time it took to assemble. Would not recommend this item.

This unit is flimsy and near impossible to put together. The pieces to attach the shelf to make it tall (not two separate short units) are so poorly designed. I have a unit with the same design from a large hardware store for the same price and the wood is thicker, metal is thicker…save your money.

This shelf is just amazing! It holds a lot of weight. We have stired bins on it with heavy items. This is very well built. This will last us a very long time. It wont tip forward. Very sturdy. Holds a bunch of items

Good storage shelf
This is a good heavy duty storage shelf. Fairly easy to put together, it took about 45 minutes to assemble. It can be assembled as one 72 inch shelf or two smaller shelves, which is what we opted for. It is perfect for basement or garage storage.

We put this together and within a couple days it was already warped. The wood and metal. We had it outside on the fully covered balcony with nothing on it. Do not recommend.
