After spending almost $200 (2 X) at the salon for my pink streaks, having to wash in cool/cold water, I decided to take a chance. I absolutely love Overtone! I used the Magestic Magenta. My hair is salt and pepper, (I'm 66) with more white on top and grey/darker grey in the back. I did the back from the ears down.. it's so vibrant!! Went on vacation to the beach for a week and it has faded very little!!

These are for sure a great way to experiment with a new color without committing to a full size. But I use them to mix my own shades especially if I only have a little bit left in a larger pot.

I love this product! I simply apply it to my hair, wait 15 minutes and rinse! Gone are the days of leaving it on for 45 minutes! And another great feature is that I can open the jar, use some, and put the lid back on for a future use! No more trashing the left over hair dye! And it leaves my hair soft! I have been recommending this product to all of my friends and family! I am a permanent customer!

My former favorite Overtone shade was Rose Gold. Strawberry Blonde was the perfect correction to the changes in the color that Rose Gold now turns out to be. My latest jar of Rose Gold is a purplish pink: Rose without the Gold. So I applied Strawberry Blonde over the Rose Gold the next day, and it is the perfect pale apricot/coral pink color in my mostly white, light gray hair. Yay! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the significant inconsistency in Overtone product. The most striking example: I once ordered a 2 oz sample of Pastel Red. Upon opening the jar, the product inside was a very pale yellow. Unsurprisingly, it had zero effect on my hair even though I left it in for over 30 minutes. P.S. It would be very helpful to show more color results on gray or white hair in your photo gallery.

I dye my hair a violet shade that fades so quickly. The royal plum daily conditioner is a great way to extend the color. I use the royal plum mask every couple of weeks too. I have had zero bleed on my sheets or clothes, though my fingernails have a nice pale blue goth cast to them occasionally.

The new style bottle that sits with the lid at the bottom so I no longer have to try to stand the old bottle upside-down to get out the conditioner is an amazing change!! However, the new daily conditioner formula is more runny and does not last as long as the previous version. Before I could throw the color conditioner on every other week and get the same results as the full mask. Now, it only lasts until the next wash. Bring back the old formula in the new bottle, please!

The Espresso Brown matched seamlessly with my nautral hair and gave it just the right amount of "umph"!! It elevated my color, left it with a glossy finish and actually felt fuller. As a girl with thin hair, that was a delightful suprise!

So far I have tried the Rose Gold and the Pastel Purple Coloring Conditioners in the Sample size. I have chin length hair and a little more than my money pieces bleached. It takes about half of the container to cover the sections I have bleached and I usually let it sit for at least 30 minutes. The Rose Gold came out great and was more of a vivid pink to begin with, and faded to a nice peachy color over time. It lasted three weeks for me when I was washing my hair every other day. On the other hand, the Pastel Purple started out saturated but only lasted about three washes before it started drastically fading for me. It was also only really visible on parts of my bleached hair that are very light blonde. Both felt great, nourishing, and smoothing on my hair regardless and I look forward to trying more colors.

I used it on my already bleached hair and it ended up being more purple than black. Everyone commented on how the ultra violet highlights. A little upsetting but it looks good
