Owala 40oz FreeSip Tumbler Stainless Steel Water Bottle

I did a pick up order for the misty meadows color because it was blue, as shown online. When I picked it up in person it was a green color and looked completely different. I was able to exchange it for a different color and am happy but I wanted to make sure people know it's more green in person.

It can fully seal so you can simply throw it into a bag and not worry about spilling or leaking. It's 40 oz and will still fit in a cup holder. Internal straw so you don't have to tip your head back. All water bottles need regular cleaning. This one is no exception. Pricey.

The cup works great BUT the color in the listing photo is very different than real life. The cup I received is more of a sage green than the teal pictured. Disappointed about the color but keeping it because I needed the cup and it works well.

Bottle is sturdy, cleaning is easy and keeps drinks cold for plenty of hours. Would recommend.

I love it! Didn’t like that Stanley 40oz cup leaked at top. With this Owala 40 oz it’s secure when it’s locked and unlocked. Love that feature. And I have flavor or powders I add and I like to shake without possibility of liquid coming out. Also very easy to take apart straw and clean other parts.

Not the color pictured. I'm sure the water bottle itself is fine but I'm beyond annoyed that I ordered this, paid for shipping for the specific color, and then received a GREEN water bottle.

I got this to replace the Owala 40oz FreeSip Stainless Steel Water Bottle which I loved, however it did not fit in a drink holder or have a handle, so I got this one as an upgrade. Upon reading the wash/care instructions, it mentioned to remove the gasket and clean it too. I was not aware there was a gasket. I get the concept, but typically, those will eventually stretch out and harbor mold. I am not happy about this part as the last water bottle didnt have one and seemed more sanitary. Also, when putting the gasket back now that it has been washed, there is a slit in one end of the gasket and I have no idea if it does up or down. I had not noticed that detail when I pulled it off to initially wash. Time will tell.

It came 2 days later than it was supposed to so I couldn't take it on my trip. When I opened the package, the cup had a dent in it.

Everything my Stanley has but more & better!! Cup holder friendly, spill proof with the lid shut and a bonus that the lid locks! I love that the spout has a straw so you can sip with it upright. Keeps my drink cold for hours and hours too :)

Love this water bottle! Doesn't spill, has built in straw and fits in my car cup holder. It's perfect!

Love it! The color is like a summer sorbet. Like the best version of a tumbler since the straw is covered. I love cold water and this holds cold water for a decent amount of time. Not as long as my Zojirushi but gets the job done. Love that it is VERY EASY to clean. The wide neck of it accommodates the sphere ice that my fridge makes too. Only two things I can say cons wise is you have to make sure to lock it before you put it in a bag because it’ll LEAK. Happened multiple times to me when I really thought I locked it and then I see water everywhere. 2nd thing is that I wish the bottom was a little more tapered down to be able to fit in the cup holder in my car. They usually accommodate larger bottles - It barely fits it and then if I have a silicone boot it doesn’t fit at all. But besides that it’s awesome!

Absolutely love this brand! I was so happy when I saw they had a tumbler with handle! As expected I love it! I love the straw spout! Easy to use and keep clean! Completely spill proof as well!

If you smell, taste or see mold... let me help. These things SEAL. If you use in the summer and particularly if you don't use ice it will get mildew under the grey seal. You need to pull that grey part off and wash it & beneath it every other day AT LEAST. If you leave it sealed up with room temp water, put ur mouth on it & don't wash it daily it's going to get stagnant & grow mildew around the seal. I switch to the non insulated kind in summer b/c I hate ice.

Beware!! I’ve had this for just under two months and for a few weeks now I have noticed a smell of mold/mildew coming from the lid. I have scrubbed and soaked it multiple times and the smell persists. I am extremely disappointed, as this is my first Owala and will probably be my last.

Would recommend this cup to everyone .... Doesn't leak, i can lock it and throw it in any bag... fits all cupholders. 10/10

Received with a flaw- dent/ smudge on the top. I needed a larger owala and this does the job. I love that it fits in most cup holders.
