Bought this for my adult Daughter. This was to be a replacement for one she left at work. Got it yesterday, and she opened it today, and the piece that should be on the top (lid) is missing. This is the piece that you slide open and closed.

Phenomenal water bottle. It is super sturdy, and lasted until it was run over. But even after getting run over, it still holds water! It didn’t leak at all, but it isn’t the very best in keeping drinks cold.

Got my first Owala in 2019 by the owala Company as a gift and six years later I love their coffee cups does not spill, kept my hot drinks hot not just warm but hot for an hour after and keeping it warm altogether for a few more. The color is just so beautiful

The slider was very hard to move. It hurt my thumb trying to press and push. Cup doesn't work one handed. You need to use two hands to press and push the slider and that won't work if you're traveling "driving". Not a great thing. Cute cup but not really functional

Only problem is it can’t be microwaved… Other than that, it’s great! No leaks, solid, & does a fairly decent job of keeping the temperature. Either hot, or cold, it keeps the temperature.

It’s definitely leakproof - I would say if you have arthritic hands or any other dexterity based disability, this probably won’t be the best cup for you. Taking it apart to clean it (namely the lid flow blocker pieces) takes a bit of work. You kinda get the hang of it - but I currently am able-handed (forgive me if not the correct way to say this.) my mom has rheumatoid arthritis and regular arthritis and she would never be able to clean this properly. All that being said - if this is not a concern for you, the cup is great. I would say it keeps fresh hot coffee reasonably warm for up to 4 hours then quickly wanes after that. Holds up well to washing in the dishwasher and definitely toddler proof when the lid is in the blocked position. The pink color is cute and h also have the 12oz version in blue that is of equal great quality.

This has become my new favorite for coffee (or tea) as it is leakproof. Some have mentioned their frustration with the lid, but I find it gets easier, especially when you press down a bit on the slider as you move it. It doesn’t keep the hot liquids hot as long as a Yeti, but it works well just the same.

Lid is the worst! It IS leak proof but drinking out of it isn't the easiest, taking it apart to clean and putting it back together is a chore!
