I’ve had these bowls for less than a year, and I just noticed that the non-slip base sounds like there’s water trapped inside. I’m pretty sure it’s from running them through the dishwasher, which must have caused water to build up at the bottom. If you plan to hand wash them, they’re probably fine — but I definitely wouldn’t recommend putting them in the dishwasher.

Very disappointed in these bowls
I washed it like I do for all new bowls and it was fine. Put popcorn in it one time and thought it tasted weird, like a metallic taste. Washed the bowl and it completely rusted. They’re nice solid bowls that I was excited about based on all the other reviews but all other bowls I own never rust. This was terrible.
