Sponge holder holds kitchen sponge but does not scratch countertop

I’m normally a fan of OXO products, but this one was a disappointment and a waste of money. It rusted (a lot) within a week, only being used with a normal sponge and water. We ended up throwing it out because it looked so bad. Not worth buying when it doesn’t even hold up for a week.

I like the shape of this sink sponge holder.

Does the job performs looks present by my sink.

I was looking for a holder for 2 kitchen sponges. This one met all the criteria. Minimalist design, (bonus is it is attractive). (I hate bulky kitchen utensils). It takes very little room on the sink. Holds 2 sponges Has a drain Has a water catch dish underneath, which is easily removable for cleaning The water catch dish has a spout, so you can pour water out without taking the dish off

Easy to clean, functional, not too intrusive.

I’m picky about my kitchen sponge. A dirty/wet smelling sponge scent can transfer to dishes making them smell. This helps prop your sounds up to dry vs it laying down and one side staying wet. Fits two sponges nicely. The bottom collects water that drips off the sponge, then pour out. Easy to clean.

Started to rust within like two weeks of use. OXO was unhelpful when trying to get a replacement. This is definitely not “stainless” steel.

Overall, a great product. This review is for a very specific types of person though… Scrub Daddy users. I bought it because my husband and I both use one, he prefers a scrub daddy and I prefer a scrub mommy, so we always have two sponges laying around. I thought this would help keep them off the edge of the sink so they could dry better. With two sponges, however, it doesn’t work. They’re too wide to be able to fit side by side and we end up laying them on top of each other.

It has started to rust after only 2 months

Easy to clean and stylish. They can hold up to two items which is nice as well. It’s not staying in and from what I have noticed that I have been using it for a little over six months.

Excellent design. Does not get nasty like other sponge holders as it drains. Easy to clean. Keeps sponges clean and ready to use.

Looks great and stays clean. It doesn’t rust like many other sponge holders which is a big plus.

This rusted after a month, really bad too. Not worth it.

Did not occur to me that a stainless steel sponge rack would rust, but it already has rust spots after less than a month of use.

Does what it says, keeps your kitchen sink dish sponges in one place without making a mess on the counter. (I wish there were a slightly larger size though.)

After a week of use, the part where the dividers attach to the body are already rusted. For the price I expected more.

Really like this sponge holder. Bought one over 4 years ago at Target and very happy they still had the same brand and style. I recommend, it's easy to clean and helps the sponge dry quicker and not get the gross smells.
