We chose the brand with the red packaging because that’s what my baby used in the hospital. When we got home, we kept using them since the small pack of Pampers Pure we had was way too big for him, and the red-packaged ones never caused any issues. When my baby turned 4 weeks old, he developed a rash on his little bottom, and it honestly broke my heart. We immediately switched to this line, and we’ve stayed with it ever since. We haven’t had a single problem, and the rash completely healed in just two weeks (and it was really bad). As a mom, you notice how harsh some diapers can be — the gel in the other brand felt very heavy and irritating on my baby’s skin. This one is truly PURE, just as it says, and it’s been so gentle and safe for my baby.

Not my favorite
While Pampers is our choice of diapers this particular one wasn’t that great. I was excited to try these for my son to see if they would be more gentle on his skin but they were not. These ended up causing a larger rash. They are also not as soft as the swaddles.

Both my children have very sensitive skin and developed rashes with other diaper brands because of the chemicals in them. I have tried multiple different brands. I do like two other different brands, but the only difference is that they do not have blowout protection. I found that these diapers do not cause my baby to break out in rashes and also have blowout protection. I have not experienced any leaking especially overnight, my baby is very comfortable in them, the fit is perfect and very easy to use. So far, I am very pleased.

New version is not worth the cost
Unfortunately, I have to echo some other recent reviews. I finally received a box of the newer diapers, and I definitely do not like them as much. They are not nearly as soft and they are absolutely thinner. The box even proves this.. when you open it there’s a lot of extra room whereas in the box of the previous version, there was no extra room. It’s such a bummer because I really liked these diapers, but I’m not willing to pay the same price for a version that doesn’t feel as good or work as well as the previous one. The older version is way softer both on the outside and on the inside. You can even see in the photo that the newer version is a lot more crinkly and rough. Such a bummer that Pampers changed this product. :(

I wanted to try these on my granddaughter because she has such sensitive skin. I would say that they are on the slightly softer side. But, nothing to go all out about! I found they weren't as absorbent over night and she had leaked onto her clothing a bit more than other brands. I dont have any more complaints other than the leaking was a bit more noted from sleep and nap time.
