Swim diapers are NOT supposed to hold in pee!!!! Pay attention to how it holds in poop. That’s all that matters. That and the fit of the diaper on your child. If you are negatively viewing/reviewing swim diapers because they leak PEE then please understand you are misunderstanding the use of a swim diaper. Don’t put it on well before you go swim. Don’t put them in the car with a swim diaper on. Put it on when you are at the pool knowing full well it will not hold in pee. All the love to you parents and caregivers but please stop negatively reviewing swim diapers because they “leak pee.”

First, after reading many negative reviews claiming that their child’s diaper “leaked” pee all over… that is what swim diapers are designed to do. They do not absorb liquid, because they would swell up if they did. They are only designed to hold in poo. Urine is not toxic to others so while swim diapers make many feel “safer” with a baby in the pool, they dont realize that the pee is not held in lol. Poo, on the other hand, has a high chance of making others sick if they come into contact with it. This is the explanation for why swim diapers WILL “LEAK” if you put the diaper on too soon before getting in the pool. I wait until we are literally walking to the water and then dress my toddler for this reason. All this to say, I typically use Huggies regular diapers but the fit, comfort, and durability of these pampers splashers are beyond all other swim diapers. My 2 year old played in the pool for 7 hours straight recently and had the same pampers splasher diaper on the entire time it was still in tip top shape when I finally got him out of the pool and dressed. Highly suggest these if you need a swim diaper (just remember to consider that ANY swim diaper you choose WILL alway leak liquid right out and on you lol)

They do not work! Do not buy. My son peed while on my lap and the he was wearing a new diaper and all the pee came out!!!! I’m sitting at a party with my dress all wet!!!!

THESE WERE HORRIBLE!!!! I dont know if they changed their product but my daughter’s poop was SPILLING OUT…my son’s pee went all over the floor the minute we took them off. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! Do not buy them or good luck cleaning and disinfectant if everything!

They do the job but the diaper pad is very thin and cheap. Pampers could of made it thicker. They probably thought that babies won't be long in the water but in and out of water with sand, gotta watch the baby so she doesn't pee on herself cuz it won't hold a lot. Maybe diaper change 2hr max. Does better than regular diaper but cheap.
