submitted byToijtyi - 7 months agoA: 10 days. Newborns are changed every 2 to 3 hours. Changing them less frequently can lead to diaper rash which is incredibly painful and difficult to treat. It's best to change your newborn baby every 3 hours at first, no matter what. Obviously, if you hear them half a bowel movement, change them immediately. But the pamper spoilers are great and that they have a line that turns blue. If they're wet. You'll want to check the diaper every 3 hours. Often. Newborns are so sleepy. You'll have to wake them up to feed them. So a typical routine can be turning on the lights, changing the diaper which usually wakes most babies and then offering them food. Every 3 hours. That usually means that two adults need to work in shifts. 6 hours on 6 hours off usually works really well. Or if you have one person going back to work, 12 on 12 off also works well. Changing every 3 hours will ensure that they stay dry and don't get diaper rashes. That means you'll have 8 diapers a day, and that means an 84 pack will last you just over 10 days. You'll need 384 packs a month.

Q: Would these work alright in size 7 for an older child (5 yr old) that is potty trained, but still has accidents at night? Pull-ups seem to irritate his sides (because of the elastic band).

A: Seventh generation makes a version without designs, but they are more beige/ off white since they don't use bleach. Babyganics only has a tiny strip of a design at front waist, and would easily be hidden if rolling diapers for cake. I believe earth's best diapers are also without design. But swaddlers have light coloring design around leg holes and front design and small details on back also.

Buyer Beware! They've changed.
We have used swaddlers for nighttime diapers for four years and they’ve always been great. We noticed immediately when we unboxed the most recent purchase of swaddlers that they were much thinner and the materials changed. Now our two-year-old wakes up with dripping diapers. They’re no better or more absorbent than the Baby Dry, which are our daytime diapers, but are quite a bit more expensive. We will not be buying Swaddlers anymore.

Reliable and seemed comfy

It does have a wider weight limit for the size which I like, so that it can be worn a little longer in each size level. Didn’t have any leaking issues and fit was fine for my baby.

I really like these Pampers for so many reasons, especially how soft they are. They have adjustable tabs, which allow me to tighten them perfectly to fit my daughter comfortably. These diapers also cover a wide range of weights (13 - 26 lbs), which is great. I love that they have an indicator showing which side is the back, as well as a wetness indicator that lets you know when the diaper is wet or dry. This is such a relief, especially for me as a first-time mom. These features help ensure my baby stays dry and that her skin doesn’t get irritated. I truly recommend these diapers—they also make a great gift for your loved ones and are definitely worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These diapers are just okay. They leak overnight which is a nightmare and wakes baby up for a diaper change. So we do daytime only. Still, they can sometimes leak. They also feel moist to the touch and leave baby’s skin damp. That can cause an uptick in rash. They’re cute and soft but not exactly the highest quality diapers on the market by any means.
