PanOxyl 4% Creamy Facial Treatment Wash - Unscented - 6oz

PanOxyl Creamy Acne Wash 4% Benzoyl Peroxide is very effective for clearing facial acne and upper body breakouts. However, it’s a bit strong for my sensitive skin, especially in winter, so I always follow up with a rich moisturizer to avoid dryness. Despite that, it delivers great results and is a reliable option for acne-prone skin.

I started off slowly with this product by letting it sit on my problematic area for a bit and then wash the remainder of my face with my normal cleanser. It’s only been a week and I use it nightly. I’ve noticed a big difference already. It can be drying so moisturizing after use is key. I thought it was all hype but it’s not. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

They changed the ingredients. Why!!? I have sensitive acne prone skin, and this stuff was the only product on the market that worked without seriously aggravating my skin. I can't say that anymore. My skin is red and aggravated, and itches so bad. I'm breaking out even more now. Why do companies do this!? First Cereve goes and changes their ingredients in their products without letting consumers know, and now panoxyl is no longer the same.

Love how clean and fresh this leaves my skin feeling. Has helped clear up my random flare ups of acne and keep it under control.

I think they changed the formula…does not work as good as it used to

I’ve been using this product for 5 years and I love it. I started off with 10% for my bad breakouts and have been able to transition to the 4% since I only get pimples here and there. I’ve had my tattooed/ombré powder brows for three years and I noticed Benzoyl peroxide makes them turn gray/blue quicker. So if you are a tattooed eyebrow girly beware.

This fixed my hormonal cystic acne. I could cry. I use it morning and night, and put on Dr song’s benzoyl peroxide lotion, and I stay clear.

Target, are you selling used products? Explain how there is a strand of hair under the cap, and the item is “new”. Even the seal doesn’t look flat and it looks tempered. I can’t try the product because it’s used. I should have went in the store instead of shipping. Such a disappointment.

This product did not work for me at all. I gave an ample amount of time for my skin to adjust. I would use Panoxyl 3 times out of the week, with off-days in between each use, in order to better offset the irritation that came with using a higher concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide than what my skin was already used to. Every time I went to use this product, I would only leave it on my skin for a total of 60 seconds. After 2 months, my skin has gotten worse compared to how it looked before I started using this product. Prior to the use of this Panoxyl, I was using Paula's Choice 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide Daily Skin Clearing Treatment. It was effective, while also being gentle and I had been using it for a total of 4 years. After finishing my last tube, I decided to switch to a wash-off Benzoyl Peroxide treatment in hopes of saving money while still being able to achieve clear skin. I had also considered updating my skincare routine with a retinol and had decided that a wash-off treatment would better serve me than a leave-on Benzoyl Peroxide treatment would. In my search for a Benzoyl Peroxide wash, I noticed that a lot of them would only offer 4% as the lowest concentration. After my Panoxyl purchase, I discovered that Curology offers a 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide wash that I think would better suit my fussy skin. More brands should offer the 2.5% concentration rather than just going only as low as 4%.

Perfect for sensitivity of the skin

Literally week one and I can already see less breakouts. I haven’t gotten any new acne but I do have a lot of hyperpigmentation scars that have NEVER left- hoping it will clear it. I wish I had taken a before picture because although my after seems bad the before was wayyyy worse. Wear sunscreen and a light lotion. Don’t combine w any other strong products. (It bleaches clothes!)

Are people giving this enough time? Your skin will purge for a few weeks. Trust me, it's worth it! I struggle with hormonal acne and my regular cleanser doesn't cut it. I may switch to a gentler one once my skin clears but if you want to get rid of acne, this is it!

I really like this product already! I was having back acne issues a week ago and I’ve been using this product for 4 days already and I’m seeing a lot of difference! My back is clearing up and I’m seeing less acne on my back! I’m very happy with this product! I definitely recommend to anyone that might have the same situation as me!

It’s a tried and true for a reason— if you’re on the fence about it, I’d say just go for it. random tidbit- I like the feel of the container when you squeeze it. You’ll see what I see mean.

Dries you out so make sure to have a skincare routine after but so far it works great!

This is my to-go product for acne. For the best results, i let the product set on my face for a minute then rinse off. For the product to work best, make sure to use consistently. The product is non-scented and has a watery/runny soap consistency. It does not latter well. The only issue is that the product bleaches the towels and can cause dry skin. For best results i recommend using a moisturizer after using the product.

personally I do not like to use this on my face but it's so good for under your arm I limits the odor
