Not like most gel pens this one doesn't dry up at the tip or leak. As soon as you begin to write with it the ink runs smoothly on the paper without fading out. It drys a lot faster so it doesn't smear like most gel pens either. I like to use it when I'm coloring too. I do a lot of arts and crafts so these are great for coloring in thin lines without the ink bleeding. Paper mate has always been one of my favorite brands for school and office supplies.

My daughter loves to draw and the wild berry seems to be a mix between purple and pink. They also dry really quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I love the pink color and the fact that the ink dries very quickly, the shape and grip of the pen is not ideal - I find it slipping out of my hand while writing since there is no grip material on the pen, just the texture on the plastic itself. Additionally I prefer a retractable pen so I'm not worried about losing the cap or leaving it open.

I have used both the wild berry and the blue colors. They are my "go-to" pens. They offer crisp, clear writing at a nice thickness level (not too thick at all). They don't bleed through my planner, either. I was waiting to write this review so I could advise how long it will last with daily use -- suffice it to say, the answer is, a long time. The wild berry color is a little deeper than I thought it would be, but I love it. It's not "jump down your throat red" but it's a nice contrast on the page that makes it easy to spot. Already have multiple of these pens at work, in my purse, and at home so I'm never without them. Get one (or more!)

As a left handed person I struggle with messy penmanship, but with this pen I seem to write so much neater! It might sound silly, but it writes so nice that it totally makes my handwriting look so much nicer! I don’t know if it’s the way it feels in my hand, the fine point or the smooth glide, but it’s definitely my new favorite pen! I also love this shade of pink!!

The Wild Berry Ink is a pretty, vibrant pink color that looks great on any type of paper. It writes very smooth and because it’s gel, it glides across the paper smoothly. The ink is highly visible unlike other similar in color ink pens that I’ve used. I will be looking for different colors of this pen to add to my collection.
