I have used these pen (in various colors) exclusively for the past five years. Recommended to me by a diner waitress (we know they gotta write fast and clear), they are smooth and legibile, without smear. It takes forever for them to run out of ink and I haven't graded any papers without them. The 1.4mm and bold tip are key, but all the colors work well (especially the red!)

7 weeks ago exactly, I bought these pens. I just threw away the second one. To go through two pens in 7 weeks is absurd. I am a student, taking two classes, but I had pens in high school that lasted me almost an entire school year. I feel like the ink runs out way too quickly in these. On the plus side, the ink is a nice dark color, ballpoint, and the writing is smooth. Comfortable to hold, too! I would love these pens if they lasted a reasonable amount of time.

The stop and start writing is annoying. Weight of the pen and hand feel is nice, just wish the mechanism was better quality.

These pens are perfect as far as the bold point and feel really great in my hand while writing due to the soft finger grips. A bit expensive but if they last for a while...then maybe worth the extra cost...but not sure of that yet.
