Very cute, but prepare to hiss as you put it together

When the other reviews say this is hard to put together--they were right. I have assembled many cardboard items as well as rather complex packed furniture and this was a challenge for me. The instructions think they are clear, but it takes a second to figure out the tab system at first, and once you do you still need a minor in cardboard engineering to get everything to do in correctly without ripping something. Granted, it is VERY cute once it's together and my cat does really like it (plus, the dual scratch zones are a very nice feature), so I don't regret getting it. And if you like the design enough to put in some time and oments of frustration, it's worth it to get. And it hopefully will last a while, as it is sturdy after you adhere the corners with the included stickers. Which is why I landed on recommend in the end. It just feels like someone didn't put a mockup together before finalizing the design on this thing.

Cute but a pain to assemble, usually these novelty scratchers will last my cat at least 3 months, but she broke the roof on this one in just a few weeks. I couldn’t fix it.
Not worth it!!!!!

I would have rated this one star if it wasn't as cute as it is. But wow, it's a pain in the butt to put together. Multiple spots broke as I was putting it together because the instructions and logistics of it just do not make sense. Absolutely not worth my time. I'm desperately hoping my cat at least uses the scratching parts or it was a complete waste of time and money. And just to preface, I build stuff all of the time for friends and family so it was not a me issue lol.
Not completely impossible

I purchased because it was cute and the reviews said it was difficult to put together. I accepted the challenge and agree that the previous design for these was much more user friendly. I completed feeling exhausted and annoyed but my cats are happy.
Would be good... but arrived damaged.

Item arrived with water damage. It rained the other day, so it may be the fault of the shipping courier. It’s unfortunate because it is super cute otherwise and would be a good size for my two Siberians.
Reasonably priced cat scratching house

I always love the cardboard houses that come out for the kitties, especially the Halloween ones lol. This (and past cardboard scratch houses) hold up pretty well for months on end. I’ve got two chunky cats (one we call a watermelon the other we call a cantaloupe 😂) that each get their own house. The top level holds their heavy butts just fine especially since they’ve reinforced it better. The scratchable floors tend to be used up before the cat house is falling apart and luckily they have some replacement floors that fit them (depending on the size). Definitely a reasonable price for how long it lasts and for how much my cats enjoy it. Only downside is they are sometimes a bit of pain in the butt to put together, so just keep that in mind when purchasing. Would purchase again and recommend to others.

Bring back the old style of assembly!!! As tough as that could be this is 100 times worse. Did you even consumer test the design? My engineering degree couldn’t even figure it out!!!. Cat loves it but it’s not even fully assembled because I have a side on wrong and didn’t have the energy to fix it. Took 30+ minutes, the old design I could do it in 10

Very cute, and my cats absolutely loved it. One of them chewed all of the structural integrity out of it but it’s still their favorite.
Complete nightmare to assemble.

Cuteness factor: 100 Assembly factor: -1,000 I have assembled so many of these houses in the past and this one was an absolute nightmare. It took every ounce of energy in my body to not jump on top of it and crush it. I think some sort of origami master designed it and wanted to punish us regular people. I’m currently sitting here writing this review as my husband tries to iron out the final details because some pieces just aren’t matching up. The instructions are also horrible. Do not recommend.

This is adorable but the directions for assembly are beyond awful. I’m going to YouTube a video to see if anyone can explain the process.

The final product is too adorable, but the process the get it done was a headache and a half. The instructions weren’t very intuitive; my boyfriend was only able to get it built because he built the last two. Also, the material feels cheaper overall. PSA if you have a big chunky cat like we do, you will want to reinforce the top flaps with tape 🙃
Cute, but way too hard to build

This was such a cute cat house, but you need an engineering degree to build it. The instructions made zero sense. I’ve never had a cat house that was this difficult to build.

Cats destroyed immediately. These aren’t as sturdy as they used to be and no longer come with catnip.

Actually bought this for my bunny, it was really hard to build and put together even though it’s just cardboard. Decided not to put the overhang attachment due to difficulties putting it through the slots.

I purchased this adorable cat house for my bengal and from the beginning its been a headache. One of the most difficult things I've ever had to put together, I had to in list help and still we struggled. Once together its was cute and my cat immediately took to it. It lasted 2 weeks then one day while he was napping on the top he busted through and scared everyone in the living room! He is not overweight by any means, but once this happened the house was non-repairable. See pictures!
