Q: Can my kid take this daily, like a supplement, or is that not recommended?
A: Great question! The Pedia-Lax Children's Saline Laxative Tablets are meant only to be used for occasional constipation, not to help with daily regularity like a supplement. If a daily supplement is needed, we do recommend consulting with your child's pediatrician for their recommendations. If you have any further questions, please contact us toll-free at 1-866-255-6960.
submitted byPrestige Consumer Healthcare - 5 years agoBrand expertA: Our GI Dr said this is okay to give my son as soon as I see he isn't having a bowel movement which is just about every few days. I give half a tablet at a time, sometimes 2-3 a day and within the next 2-3 days he is regular again.

Q: Like gummies or just chewable
A: These are chewable. A bit chalky, so I always give my kids water with them.
