Q: Can my kid take this daily, like a supplement, or is that not recommended?

A: Our GI Dr said this is okay to give my son as soon as I see he isn't having a bowel movement which is just about every few days. I give half a tablet at a time, sometimes 2-3 a day and within the next 2-3 days he is regular again.

Easy to take and ideal to have on hand for travel

I like to have them to travel with - just in case! The Pedia-Lax Laxative Chewable tablets taste like watermelon and are easy for my son to take. He doesn’t complain about the taste which I consider to be a huge win for any medication! They work within the timeframe noted on the bottle as well.

Might be too strong for my toddler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, this upset my son stomach. He didn’t complain about the taste and I had no complaints about the ingredients. But this product made him sick. It might be of value to someone but we will have to pass.

Worked ok but she disliked the texture

She is 11 and said they tasted gross and it took a couple doses for it to take effect. However I felt better using this then any other brand since I trust this company with children’s products. I got this product free from @influenster but I located at most major retailers that sell children’s medicine.

Five Stars! Finally, a Gentle Laxative That Works.

They’re gentle on the stomach, work within a few hours (sometimes overnight), and don’t cause cramping like some other laxatives do. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tbh this Pedia-Lax chewable is such a lil hero 😂 My kid used to cry when hearing “medicine time” but this one? he said “mom it taste like candy watermelon!!” 🍉 The taste is actually good, not too sweet. I checked the ingredients, seems pretty simple n safe for kids (no scary stuff lol). Gave him 1 tab, and about an hour later… boom 💩—super effective! Sometimes takes longer but still works fine. The packing is small, easy to open, perfect for travel. And honestly, good value for money, coz u don’t need much for it to work. Just not for daily use tho. Mom-tested, kid-approved

Dosage..?
I’m confused about the dosage- the adult miralax bottle says to give 15 ml for kids 6-12, which is ~500 mg of magnesium oxide. This product, which one pill is 400 mg,, says to give kids 3-6 tablets at one dose?!! That would be like 2x the adult dose..! The discrepancy makes me nervous to use it bc I never know the right amount and too much can cause discomfort and diarrhea. I also wish they clean up the garbage like SUCRALOSE/ but when you have a comstipated kid, you’ll try anything

Definately recommend over any other medicine
My 2.5 yr old was constipated for over days. Gave 2 tablets and he was able to poop in 30 mins without any discomfort. Before having this tablet he was also taking pear juice, electrolyte solution and some food rich in fiber. He also took two does of mommy’s bliss baby constipation medicine but it had not helped him so much this time and also in the past. Definitely recommend pedia lax over any other medicine 🎉🎉🤞

My almost 6 yo has chronic constipation issues. We were on day 5 of no poop, and she was in tears she was straining so much. She had 2 of these, 6 oz of apple juice, and 6 oz of water. Right around the 2-hour mark she was able to go, no straining, totally fine after.

Had high hopes, BUT...
My son ate them fine, we said they were candy. He is a very picky eater with a lot of anxiety around food. However they did nothing . He’s three and I gave him three tablets. It’s the following day now and still no movement.
