A: The motor is connected to a usb cord but a regular outlet plug is included so you can plug the cord to that then into a regular plug outlet.

Q: Does the top tray snap into place or is otherwise secured? My cat loves to play in the fountain and has dismantled the tops of fountains before.

Leaked
After about 3 weeks it leaked all over the place. I had changed the filter and it was working fine, I have no idea what caused it.

Ruined wood floor
Pros-Love the look, quiet, easy to clean, water lasts several days, cat loves it and no longer begs for drinks out the bathroom faucet. Comes with several extra filters. Cons-Leaks/collects water underneath unit but I can’t figure out how or why, nothing else is wet around sides of unit or anything and water is not spraying/overflowing from the top tray. Unfortunately water has also went through the supposedly water proof mat I have it on and has ruined my wood floor and I am not happy!😩Took awhile to realize this was even happening. Kitty is disappointed but will have to return unfortunately and look for a different unit. Really wished this worked out as it’s a great unit otherwise and hope someone is able to figure out/resolve this issue because it’s very upsetting my beautiful wood floor is ruined from an apparently defective/flawed design water fountain and its definitely not easy or cheap to replace! I’ve also seen another review regarding this same problem.

This is not stainless steel
Inaccurate discription the top tray is stainless the rest is plastic and plastic harbors bacteria and is not a good choice for animals.

It's a good deal
The fountain works great. The cats like drinking out of it. The water comes out far enough away from the spigot so the cats don't have to be right up on it to get some water. The only things I don't like is the power cord is attached to pump. Gives me an uneasy feeling whenever I clean it. Also the water fill line is not clearly marked in dark lettering. It's clear etched on clear surface. Other than that it's a nice buy.

The only fountain my cats will use
I have tried water fountains before and my cats didn't like any of them. After about a week of being afraid of it, they love it! The customer service from Pet Libro has also been great! I ordered the wrong product at first, they reached out to the shipping company and was able to stop the shipment so that it would return to them and I would get my refund faster. Very happy with my purchase!

Felix loves it!
Felix drinks from the faucet at the bathroom sink and I have forgotten to turn the faucet off way too many times. This fountain has solved the problem. He loves the constant running water. I love the ease of filling and it's so easy to clean and change filters

Great design
The cats love it and it stays much fresher than my previous fountain which was stainless steel, but didn't have a filter. There's a center compartment that holds the filter and keeps gunk out of the motor. You're meant to change out the filter every couple of weeks. The filter cost is worth it imo to make sure the cats have fresh water with no bacteria build up, etc.

Love it! Much better than all my other fountains
My cat would only drink from my other fountains right after I filled it with fresh water and then would not drink from it again. This is because there are all open and the water is exposed to lint, hair, etc. They were also all very difficult to clean. This Capsule is easy to clean and the water stays fresher as it is enclosed for the most part. My cat will drink from it for three days before I have to change the water out. A BIG improvement for me!
