PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum

I've had this bottle since October and I've been steadily using it 1-2 times a week. It lasts forever! It also works great, you hardly need to use any and I can feel the results the next morning.

I've always been bad at biting and picking at my lips for years and years. If you do it too then you know the struggle. I've used every chapstick and balm on the market, they feel nice but nothing I've found truly heals my lips. I bought this about two weeks ago to try and I noticed a difference after the first use. After about 3-4 uses every other night before bed, my lips are fully healed and the softest they have ever been. I don't leave reviews so I'm kicking myself for not taking before and after pictures but this means a lot to me and I hope it helps someone with the same issues I have. Yeah, it doesn't taste great but that's the last thing I cared about when I tried this product. One bottle will last forever and I'll continue to use this on a regular basis. The Ordinary for the win!!

Its ok. Been using it since December 2025 and the only thing I noticed is that my lips are peel alot more than it used too. It works be great if only it did cause me to get split lip and my lips were more hydrating.

Yep, It works as promised. I have been using it at night a few times a week for several weeks. I put it on just before going to sleep, and wake up not with chapped lips, but with smooth, soft skin. I recommend without pause.

I started using the product and thought I really liked it and used it less than recommended when I started getting a bad reaction. I have chemical burns inside my lips now even though I was so careful with it and they wont away and its so painful. I wont be using it again sadly.

I loveeeee this! Im Black with thick lips, sometimes can be dry/peeling. I love weering lip gloss daily so putting a drop of this on my lips before lip gloss helps my lips to not peel. It feels like a layer of skin sealant, kinda like if you're about to paint your house walls a pretty color but you add a white base coat first to make sure there won't be any patchiness. Only purchased one bottle so far but I think the bottle will last me 3 months if used daily!

This stuff is amazing and made my lips feel so much better after a dry cracked winter! I noticed a difference after the first use.

If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I used this product ONE time on my lips and had the worst reaction of my life. This may just be a (me) thing since I have sensitive skin, but my entire lips peeled off. They were oozing a yellow liquid, peeling, and had chemical burn blisters for almost 2 weeks. This product created cracks in my lips on the inside that burned whenever I tried to eat or drink. Please be wary of this product if you have sensitive skin. The first picture is my lips before and the second is after when my lips puffed up, inflamed and started to ooze. Please patch test this product on the inside of your elbow before applying to the lips!!

Love this product. I use it every few days and it elimates the peeling on my lips. Taste is a little bitter, but not intended to "taste". Very good product for exfoliating and softening lips.

This product clearly has a high amount of glycerin, the texture is similar to pure glycerin. The main issue i experienced with it is that it takes a long time to absorb into the lips (which is very typical of products with SO much glycerin). Since it's just an exfoliating serum, and needs a lip balm on top to seal in the moisture I have to wait a while before i can apply the balm. I advise applying a really tiny amount, less than a drop, because then it will be absorb faster. Ask for the performance of the product, it's fine. Hydrating, doesn't stand out from other hydrating serums i've applied to my lips.

I made a purchased on nov 15 and ever since ige neen suffering i cant even eat or drink or even when i brush my teeth my lips hurts. I experienced a bad burn on my lipe and I've been sick visiting doctors and as i write this im at the dermatologist. Its really bad my lips got a very bad stain in my lips brown/blakc its dont go away and its been months. It looks bad my lips gets dry all the time burn sensation and it hurts. Im taking them to court 100%. ive seen people on tiktok and social media complaining about rhe same thing

I've had chronically dry, chapped lips my whole life. This is a life changer. I use it 3-4 times a week as recommended and follow with lip balm. No more chapped lips. Love this stuff!!!

I did tell a friend and my daughter about this and how well it worked because my lips are constantly peeling and so dry no matter how much lip balm or Vaseline or anything that I put on them

Seeiously the only thing that keeps my lips soft during the winter! Only put it on right before my head hits the pillow bc it feels like simple syrup but it really works!

I have struggled my whole life with dry lips. I used this for the first time one night and IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference the next morning. I would 100% recommend this if you struggle with dry lips.

I’ve been using this product for around 2 weeks now and honestly have seen little to no difference. I’d recommend just using a physical exfoliator for lips because I feel like my lips just feel rougher after using this.

I'd assume you'd use this after exfoliating your lips with a sugar scrub, because if you don't, you won't have any smoothing results. The chemical taste lingers for a second even after drying which I don't mind, but still am not a fan of.

This is truly the holy grail. I tested a week with thr product and without and the difference is INSANE. With this product it doesnt show resukts right away but I found my lips never flaking or being chapped and it is -16 degrees outside! I pair these with a lip mask and my lips are the juiciest ever.

Finally, a lip exfoliating product that delivers! I am constantly buying products for my lips that actually smooth lips and keep them chap free. Physical exfoliants harshly pull flaky dead skin off, often leading to the pulling off of healthy skin and then I'm left dealing with a whole other issue of healing. That is a constant cycle of creating uneven lip texture which defeats the whole purpose. This acid exfoliant isn't harsh at all. In fact, the results at first are so subtle, I almost chalked this up to another product that does not deliver on its promises and a truly effective treatment doesn't exist. Everything about it is different in terms of your typical lip treatment. The look, the feel, the application, etc. I use it every other night and follow with a lip mask as suggested. After about the first week of use, I noticed wow…I'm not biting at my flaky lips today. And then it became…wow, all my lip products are applying easily today. And before I knew it, my lips look even and smooth consistently. It's gradual and it might be easy to give up, but this product is about the long game. Not the instant gratification of a lip scrub that may look great for a couple of hours, but then you're right back to chapped and deydrated lips. It honestly doesn't take that long to see the results you want to see. Use it every other night with an overnight lip mask (I use Laniege) before bed and you'll see results. I don't even use a whole drop because it doesn't seem to ever dry down. I let it dry as long as I possibly can (sometimes 10 minutes or more. Sometimes less), blot the excess off lightly and then apply my lip mask. It's truly a holy grail product for me that I won't ever be without!
