PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum

Finally, a lip exfoliating product that delivers! I am constantly buying products for my lips that actually smooth lips and keep them chap free. Physical exfoliants harshly pull flaky dead skin off, often leading to the pulling off of healthy skin and then I'm left dealing with a whole other issue of healing. That is a constant cycle of creating uneven lip texture which defeats the whole purpose. This acid exfoliant isn't harsh at all. In fact, the results at first are so subtle, I almost chalked this up to another product that does not deliver on its promises and a truly effective treatment doesn't exist. Everything about it is different in terms of your typical lip treatment. The look, the feel, the application, etc. I use it every other night and follow with a lip mask as suggested. After about the first week of use, I noticed wow…I'm not biting at my flaky lips today. And then it became…wow, all my lip products are applying easily today. And before I knew it, my lips look even and smooth consistently. It's gradual and it might be easy to give up, but this product is about the long game. Not the instant gratification of a lip scrub that may look great for a couple of hours, but then you're right back to chapped and deydrated lips. It honestly doesn't take that long to see the results you want to see. Use it every other night with an overnight lip mask (I use Laniege) before bed and you'll see results. I don't even use a whole drop because it doesn't seem to ever dry down. I let it dry as long as I possibly can (sometimes 10 minutes or more. Sometimes less), blot the excess off lightly and then apply my lip mask. It's truly a holy grail product for me that I won't ever be without!

if i could give over 5 stars i would, this works wonders for me!! my lips have gone from super chapped to soft and repaired because of this - and for so cheap!! i also don't use too much at a time, so this will last me a while!!

After only 2 uses, my lips look amazing! I have tried various lip prodcuts for my lips in the winter months but this has been the only product that actually works, would highlt reccomend!

The only thing this serum did was make my lips pink. They dont help with chappedness. Actually made my lips crack and peel more.

I would love this as a balm to be applied throughout the day. It's that gentle! As others have stated, a little goes a long way and a drop is all you'll ever need for average sized lips. I'm still new to this serum, so time will tell.

First use made my lips so soft and all you need is a small drop for your entire lips. The directions say to use a lip balm after it drues but it dries so slow. I used it before bed and after 30 minutes it still wasn't dry. Wasn't till I woke up it had dried and I could finally put my balm on. So I wouldn't recommend using this in the morning or mid day. Make sure to hydrate your lips after or else they will be dry

I was a skeptic (I didn't think it would be intense enough), but figured I'd buy it since the price was reasonable. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. Per the instructions, I started using it every other night before bed. Just a tiny dab--I touch my finger to the dropper end because too much comes out then apply my finger to my lips. After about a week or two of consistency, I looked up one night and noticed, wow! My lips are brighter! I'd purchased it because I had been doing facial treatments to resolve hyperpigmentation. My face skin looked great but then I noticed my lips were SO much darker than my skin and I didn't recall them being that dark in my younger years. I'm not a smoker and I used chapstick religiously, but at some point, they'd gotten darker. Very pleased with the results! Btw, I have sensitive lip skin and this product did not trigger any reactions. 10 out of 10.

I was really excited to use this, as I struggle with chronically dry lips no matter how much water I drink or whatever lip balms I use. I have used glycolic acid before to exfoliate my lips but did so sparingly so I was super excited to see a lip-specific exfoliating product but I am disappointed. One, I don't know if it was just the product I got but it's nowhere near as pink as it looks like in the advertisements. It's basically clear. Second, it hardly does anything. I put enough to coat both my lips and then I put on a thick layer of Aquaphor. In the mornings as soon as I wake up, my lips are already dry. Even though I religiously re-apply my lip balm, my lips are still dry. Overall, I would not recommend this product or ever repurchase.

I use this product once a day it really does work. I would recommend this product to anybody. I also got my niece one for Christmas.

I never imagined I would find a lip product I love so much. I have super dry lips and basically must wear balm at all times and they are still often flaky. One night and I am back to baby lips with NO SCRUBBING.

This is very nourishing and makes me lips feel and look more plump. It keeps my lips hydrated and keeps a more pink tone to them. You do need to make sure youre using and following up with lip balm or gloss 2-3 times per day as on instructiosn if not they will dry your lips. The purpose is to exfoliate and then nourish with the balm afterwards. I love tjis product i will buy again. A little goes a long way.

Tried this out a few times and I am in love. Makes lips so soft. I use this every other week and helps with my lips peeling and dryness

I've been using this lip exfoliator for about a week and have been enjoying it/seeing benefits… but i wish there was a better way to apply it. The serum is messy and i end up getting half of it in my mouth + it takes FOREVER to absorb. It will last a long time as you only need one little drop to cover the lips, but would be better if it came in balm form or maybe just a different applicator top instead of a dropper.

i thiught this would be a good addition to my lip care routine. i wanted to give it a chance, but i think i hate it. -1 drop of product from the glass dropper is far too much. the product is very liquidy and spreads very easily, a little goes a long way -the product ends up inside of my mouth because of this, and it tastes bad. have had to put my finger in my mouth to wipe the inside of my mouth multiple times with one full drop -this is a VERY GENTLE chemical exfoliant. if youre used to lip sugar scrubs, youll probably be disappointed with this -takes a while to dry down

I have a very full bottom lip that gets really thick dey patches and crack easily. I picked this up on a whim after none of my lio balms were touching the problem and it was noticeably better the next morning. I've been hsing everybother day for a little over a week and im oy having to use balm a few times a day to keep them soft. I expect they will continue to improbe pvee the next few weeks. Product is thick and a tiny bit ( less than a full drop) is all you need. It feels tacky and a lottle greasy at first but that goes away quickly
