Description
The Philips Avent Anti-colic nipple Flow 2 is great for babies 1 month and older and breastfed babies learning to drink from a bottle.
The anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to keep air away from your baby's tummy to reduce colic and discomfort. As your baby feeds, the valve flexes to allow air into the bottle to prevent vacuum buildup and vents it towards the back of the bottle. The nipple shape allows for a secure latch and the ribbed design helps prevent collapse for uninterrupted, comfortable feeding.
The anti-colic nipple is made of flavorless, odorless, soft, BPA-free silicone that resists discoloring and stickiness. Philips Avent bottle nipples are available in different flow rates to keep up with your baby’s growth. We recommend replacing nipples every 3 months for hygiene reasons.
Use Philips Avent Anti-colic bottles only with Philips Avent Anti-colic nipples.
Packaging uses greater than 50% plastic alternative such as FSC-certified paper, aluminum, steel, or glass with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel. Frankly, there wasn't much to like. The design was very basic, and I didn't find any standout features that made them better than other options on the market. The nipples did fit securely onto the bottles and were easy to attach, which was a plus. Cleaning was also straightforward, as they have a simple design without too many hidden spots for milk to get stuck. However, the ease of use stopped there due to the frustrating flow rate. This was the most frustrating aspect. The flow rate was far too slow for my baby, regardless of which flow I tried. It seemed to take an incredibly long time for him to finish a single feeding, which led to him getting frustrated and tired before he was full. It definitely didn't seem like the right pace for him. My baby's response to these nipples was not good at all. The slow flow made him fussy and impatient during feedings. He would often pull away from the bottle, cry, and seemed to get frustrated by how hard he had to work to get the milk. It made feeding time a stressful experience for both of us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pack of bottle nipples from Stellar Product Testing Panel complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I really like the wide nipples and they are sturdy! They don’t cave in while my baby eats and he seems to like the shape and use of them. The flow size is a teensy misleading as my baby is both breast/bottle fed and should use a flow 1 based on age, but does much better with this flow 2 size for a more natural flow rate. Overall, I definitely recommend and would purchase this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby did latch on to these really well. He likes a more narrow nipple and flow 2 rate nipples worked best since he is 3 months old. We have a few of these bottles in the 4oz size that came with slower flow nipples so it is nice to have the extra faster nipples in flow 2 on hand to use in the smaller bottles. The milk does stay in the nipple of the bottle and the antic-colic seems to be effective. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing for providing me with this nipple set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this nipple set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and my baby and I both love them! They are super easy to assemble and clean. I previously bought nipples from a different brand that had so many pieces to clean. These make clean up and storage a breeze, which is a huge plus given our busy lifestyle. The nipples fit securely in the bottles and do not leak from the sides, but are easily removable from the rim of the bottle when it’s time to wash. The material seems quality and has held up to my teething little one! My baby has issues with gas after bottle feedings and the flow of these nipples is just right for him! He mostly breastfeeds and we had issues with other nipples being too difficult to get milk out of or milk pouring out too fast and causing more gas and spitting up. My favorite thing about these nipples is that the milk flow seems to mimic the natural pace of breastfeeding and allows my baby to drink at his own pace. No more gas or crying, which is such a relief for us both!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Philips Anti-Colic Nipple 4 Pack and was really impressed. The nipples are soft, durable, and designed to closely mimic a natural latch, which made it easier for my baby to transition without any fuss. I really like the built-in anti-colic valve—it helped reduce gas and spit-up, which gave me peace of mind and made feeding time more comfortable for my little one. I’m really pleased with Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing the 4 pack set of bottle nipples to me! They fit securely with my Philips bottles, attached easily, and cleaning them was simple with no hard-to-reach spots. The flow rate felt just right—not too fast or too slow—allowing my baby to feed at a steady, comfortable pace. Most importantly, my baby responded well and seemed happy and satisfied after feeding. Overall, this 4-pack is convenient, reliable, and a must-have for parents who want extra nipples on hand while keeping feeding smooth and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this nipple set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, my baby and I have enjoyed them. I have a mostly breastfed 3 month old. It’s important to me to have a nipple that encourages a wide latch. These ones fit the bill! However, the size 2 was a little too fast for my baby. I think the size 1 would be perfect. The material is also pretty firm, so if your baby likes a soft bottle nipple, your mileage may vary. They seem very sturdy and I am not worried about tears.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I was given the opportunity to try these Avent nipples by Stellar Panel. My little one is 2 months old and we have had issues with him being gassy and uncomfortable after bottle feeds. After switching to the Avent anti-colic bottles/nipples, I have noticed a big improvement in his comfort which is such a relief as a mother. We were sent the Flow 2 nipples which is still a little too fast for my little guy. I will definitely told hold to them until he is a little bit older. In the meantime I have switched over to Flow 1 which has been perfect. The nipples fit perfectly on the bottles, are easy to switch out, and have been easy to clean. This product in combination with their bottles is a must try for parents with gassy babies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent Anti-colic Newborn gift set from Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, it works well for my baby's gas and we do enjoy the product. Pros: My 7 month old had no issues taking to this bottle. The air free vent seems to work well as she doesn't seem to have as much gas compared to normal. I like the air free vent and nipple shape and sizes (my daughter preferred the size 2 flow rate). It is much easier to clean and place inside my bottle washers and sterilizers. Cons: If you forget to position the air free vent on the top during feeding, it will most definitely leak. Bad for my mom brain and midnight feedings. In terms of bottle shape and material, I wish the bottle was more narrow and made of glass instead. I probably wouldn't make this my only bottle to use since I would forget to position the air vent upwards a lot. But I do enjoy using it for daytime feeds since it does reduce the gas for my baby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These flow 2 bottle nipples are great! They fit our Avent bottles perfectly and my little one took to them quickly. She loves the shape and the nipple has not caused any issues for us switching back and forth between breast and bottle. I love how easy they are to put on and take off the bottle, and how easy they are to clean! Thank you so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for this pack of bottle nipples!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I had the chance to try the Philips Avent Anti-Colic Nipples, and they’ve been a great fit for my daughter. She has a mild lip tie, and after working with lactation consultants it wasn’t recommended to release it, so we’ve been searching for bottles that would work well for her. These nipples have been a pleasant surprise, the wide shape helps minimize dripping, and she swallows less air, which has really reduced her gas and fussiness. The flow rate feels just right, and she’s been able to maintain a good pace without struggling. I also love that they fit securely on the bottles without leaking and are easy to clean. Overall, my daughter is more comfortable after feedings with these compared to other nipples we’ve tried, and we’re really happy with how well they’re working for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved these free for testing purposes from steller product testing panel in exchange for an honest review. This 4 pack of nipples are the same quality, appearance and fit of the standard nipples that come with the bottles. The nipples are easy to switch out and are clearly marked with the size and brand to avoid any confusion if you have multiple sizes/brands. We have had no issues with leaking where they shouldn't so the fit is great and secure. My 2 month old is mainly breastfed but we aim to give her a daily bottle atleast 4-5 times a week to be sure she'll take one if I would ever need to be away from her for any period of time. She's getting better with the size one nipple but occasionally still has some trouble with the flow being too fast so we have not moved onto the size 2. I have however tested it with the bottles and water. The size 2 has 2 holes (compared to the size 1 with one hole) and comes out slightly faster as a consistent slow drip when held upside down where the size one will only have an occasional drip out. My only complaint really applies to all bottles/nipples so I did not deduct a star for it which is even the slowest flows can be a little overwhelming for a breastfed newborn. The charts listing what size for what age always tend to be way off stating that a 1 month old is ready for size 2 when my kids were always still struggling with the lowest flow level at that age (I have 3 kids) and honestly never really moved up in size. Would be nice to start seeing some different charts for exclusively bottle fed vs breast fed babies because the feeding habits can be drastically different due to the nature of bottle vs breast and this can be confusing for new parents trying to navigate what they need. Overall these are a perfect replacement nipple that matches the ones that come with the bottle and size 2 is a good option if your little one gets frustrated with the slower flow of size 1.

I found this nipples perfect for my baby, the flow is just what he needs the right pace for him, he took it pretty well and his latch was great, also they worked pretty well for my set and easy to setup, it’s good to have always extra of this since it’s recommended to change them every 1-2 months too Thank you to stellar product testing panel for the product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received the Philips Avent Anti-Colic Nipples 4-pack flow 2 as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have tested the nipples with the Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle with AirFree Vent. The Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle with AirFree Vent originally came with the flow 1 nipples. However, the flow 1 nipples was too slow of a pace for my baby, it took him almost half an hour to finish the bottle. He was struggling a bit with the bottle. I decided to switch it out to the Philips Avent Anti-Colic Nipples flow 2 nipples and see how my baby takes it. I like that the nipples were easy to change out, easy to attach and fits securely on the bottle lid. The nipples works well with the Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle with AirFree Vent. The nipples were easy to use and clean with the bottle brushes, it drys quickly after each wash with the baby dish soap and air drys. It ready to be used again when baby boy is hungry. I like how soft the nipples are and it very similar in comparison to the breast. Baby took the bottle with the flow 2 nipple right away. The pace seems to be better suited for him, it took him between 10 to 15 minutes to finish the bottle. He was not struggling with the bottle for feed. I do a combo feed with both formula and breast feed. There seems to be no nipple confusion between the flow 2 nipples and switching back to breast feeding, which is definitely a plus. Overall, I would recommend the Philips Avent Anti-Colic Nipples to be used with the Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle with AirFree Vent, it helped to reduced my son's colic, gas, and reflux and minimize his spit ups during and after feeding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel. My little one is only 5 weeks old, so very much in the learning stage of bottle feeding as he is EBF and has some tongue restrictions. First, I really like the shape of the nipples, I think they do a good job of mimicking the breast in terms of the shape. However, these nipples have a harder plastic than I would typically purchase when trying to switch back and forth between bottle and breast. The flow is also too fast for my breastfed newborn, but down the road the flow may be a better fit for him. Very easy to clean and didn’t experience any leaking when using these nipples.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the nipple set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I’ve been really happy with the Philips Avent Anti-Colic Nipples. What I liked most was the overall quality and thoughtful design — they feel durable, soft, and mimic breastfeeding pretty well, which made the transition between bottle and breast much smoother for my baby. They fit securely on our Philips Avent bottles with no leaks or issues. Attaching and removing them is quick and easy, and cleaning is a breeze — especially since they're dishwasher safe. The wide neck design also helps when rinsing them thoroughly by hand. As for the flow rate, we used the appropriate level for our baby’s age (we started with Level 1, then moved to Level 2), and it seemed spot on. Not too fast or too slow, which helped reduce gas and spit-up. The anti-colic valve really seemed to make a difference — I noticed less fussiness and fewer gassy episodes after switching to these. Most importantly, my little one took to these nipples really well. There was no resistance or confusion, and feeding time has gone a lot more smoothly since we started using them. Highly recommend, especially if you're already using Philips Avent bottles — these nipples are a perfect fit!

We tried a couple different bottles and finally and thankfully landed on this type of bottle. Baby girl has no problem latching to this nipple and it seems to fit perfectly in her mouth. Not too long, not too short, seems perfect. Really easy to figure out what flows baby needs as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great nipples for babies transitioning from breastfeeding to bottle. My daughter is primarily breastfed, but we have started supplementing with a bottle because I will be transitioning back to work soon. We found that our little one did well with both the size 1 (came with the bottle) and size 2 flow. We decided use the slower-flowing nipple (size 1) and sit her upright when feeding because she is often gassy and spits up. She has had no issues with nipple confusion (will take bottle or breast without issue). The nipples and bottle are easy to clean as well! We are so grateful to have received these nipples through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these Philip Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle Flow 2 Nipples from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and they are quite good. I am not as big of a fan as these as I am the natural nipple and screw ring, but my son has not been phased in the least by our mixing these nipples into our bottle feedings. He is actually nursing more than ever, so there’s a good possibility these may work great for nursing moms. It really depends on baby’s preference and I like that philips avent offers different flow speeds to their nipples. This helps baby feed quickly and with this particular bottle set, without adding too many air bubbles into the feed. We don’t currently use formula, but I can see the appeal of these for formula-fed babies, or for use by those who are pumping exclusively. When thee Anti-Colic nipples are used with the anti-colic bottles and vents, the vent allows the nipple to fill completely without the milk or formula escaping back down the bottle. This, combined with the way the vent pulls bubbles away, reduces gas for baby. Less gas usually means a reduction in fussiness - and who doesn’t want that? If you have a gassy baby (oh boy do we), I highly recommend these. The ability to change the flow rate can not only help reduce gas, as you can slow the feeds down if baby has been gulping too much air, or you can speed them up if things are under control and taking a long time. Overall, these nipples are great as a part of this anti-colic system. If you have a gassy and thus fussy baby, you would be smart to choose them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved this bottle! I have a two month old who was exclusively breastfed and wanted to start offering pumped bottles. The design of this is great. Easy and comfortable to hold. Love that it is wider than a standard bottle because it’s closer to breastfeeding and also 100% easier to clean. Same goes with the anti colic piece, so much easier to clean compared to other brands. I’ve always loved this brand and this new bottle did not disappoint. I also love that these bottles are simple design wise. No fancy designs or colors or anything. It’s just a well designed product. I received this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2-month-old has had some issues with acid-reflux, and these seemed like a great bottle solution. I like that there aren’t a dozen pieces to wash and put together, and that the bottle is useful without the insert as well. My daughter took the nipple great, ate as normal, and seemed to take in less air. I will keep these in her bottle rotation, for sure! I received these through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
