[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid Advent bottle user, I like the fact that there are additional nipples you can buy to fit baby’s needs without having to buy a whole new bottle. I am only giving this nipple a 3 star rating because they were a little fast for my 8 month old breastfed baby. Maybe in the future I will be able to use them, but it is nice to have the option of a higher flow rate if needed. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

My baby liked the nipple. The bottle doesn't seem to cause him extra gas or crampiness which is a huge plus for us. These bottles are also great for water for older babies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Phillips bottle but the size 4 nipples did not work for my 10 month old who is mainly breastfed. He would constantly choke on the milk in the bottle. A size 2 or 1 works better. It’s still a great product just not for my baby. This product was given to me by Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the avent anti-collic nipples in size 4 as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm in love!! I can't believe I spent the first 9 months of parenthood without having these! Our son has always had a poor latch, and it was best managed with a different, shorter nipple in the Avent line, but he would still lose his suction frequently resulting in swallowing air. These nipples solved that problem! They fit better in his mouth and the anti-collic design made it even better! Because of his age, he was really only content with the size 4 flow rare, but I imagine if we had found these sooner, the other flow rates would have been great, too. I also love that these nipples are interchangeable with other Avent bottles we already owned. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were thoroughly pleased when trying the Phillips Avent bottles and nipples for Stellar Reviews! We were sent two sizes to try, size 3 and size 4. Our 8-month-old daughter has been on a size 2 flow from another anti-colic brand for a while now and took the size 3 flow very comfortably. The size 4 flow was a bit fast for her, but I am very glad to have the size 4 on hand for when she’s ready. I do believe that it’s important to have several different nipple sizes on hand since babies grow and develop so quickly! Our daughter took to this nipple shape very well, which is a surprise because it’s a totally different shape than what we normally use. The tip of the nipple is sort of squared off, and the base of the nipple is wide (the nipples from the other brand are small at the base so the whole thing fits in her mouth). She took to it with ease and looked very comfortable doing so. I wholeheartedly believe in the anti-colic properties of these bottles and nipples. My daughter normally has tons of gas after a feeding and she barely had any! I really think that the wide base of the nipples contributed to that, leaving little room for air to come in.

She can easily do a quick burp immediately after drinking a bottle using these nipples and we haven't noticed her waking up at night due to gasiness either. Typically anticolic nipples and bottles have additional parts but what I appreciated about this was that it's just bottle, collar, and this nipple. It’s great how they offer several nipple flows to help baby feed comfortably. My son perfers the flow 4 at this age and it’s helped him have less gas and burping compared to other brands we’ve tried. I definitely recommend these bottles and nipples to anyone who’s baby is experiencing gas, discomfort or burping. They helped my son feed more comfortably. This flow rate was perfect for my 9 month old’s current feeding stage. He has dealt with gas and these nipples were able to provide a comfortable feed and eased his gas symptoms. I would highly recommend these nipples to any infant that is dealing with gas or colic. They are soft and easy to feed on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These nipples didn’t work for us. However, I do think they would work for most babies that are in similar age as mine (almost 9months). However, my baby is slow. We recently moved up to a 2 nipple in another brand. She’s just lazy, ha! The 4 was a bit much for us but I think she’ll get there eventually. We were able to use a slower flow that came with the bottles and those worked just fine for us. It was good to have options to see which ones worked for us best. My baby ended up going with the slowest flow probably because I nurse most of the time. It took us a couple of tries for her to get used to the bottle but she caught on. I did notice that she burped much lesser than usual while using this bottle.

We tried size 4 nipples to see what worked best in terms of flow for our baby. What we found was that he did best with this size when he is HUNGRY (e.g. first thing in the morning) so even though they might be a little too much flow for later in the day, it was great to have a different option to try when he needs a lot of food quickly. These nipples also work well in terms of reducing gas/discomfort. We've had good luck with Avent products from this perspective and these nipples were no different. If I have one gripe, it's that Avent nipples are a little difficult to get fully clean all the way to the tip, perhaps because they are a little on the wide side. However I would recommend trying a couple different sizes of Avent nipples for sure so you can experiment with the flow for your baby.

I am so relieved now, because she has accepted the Philips Avent Anti-Colic Bottle right away without much fussing. I like that the nipples do not drip so none of that liquid gold goes to waste. It looks like the nipple flow works great for my baby. I can hear the air venting out as she eats, and she almost never has gas, tummy upsets or hiccups now – amazing! The nipples are think and are very easy to use and clean. As a first-time parent, I am extremely satisfied with this nipple set from Philips Avent. I am happy that my baby is happy!

My husband and I are first time parents to an almost exclusively breastfed 9 month old. We’ve tried giving him bottles numerous times but he rarely takes ones unless there’s something other than milk in them. He also tends to get gassy when he does take a bottle. He now uses sippy cups for all other beverages but we still have a hard time getting him to take milk from anything other than the breast so we were more than happy to test out these Amit-Colic Flow 4 nipples but our hopes/expectations were low. To our surprise, he seemed to love it immediately. He actually looked surprised himself at first. I don’t know if it’s because he was getting more milk than he’s used to out of the bottle or what but he loves it. We stopped bothering to buy/try new nipples because it seemed like a waste to us since he never took to any of them. I’m so glad we got these to try. He’s never drank so much from a bottle before! He also doesn’t seem to be gassy after drinking from it which is great! We’re leaving him with my mom for a couple days next month and were so afraid he wouldn’t drink milk the whole time but now I’m confident he will with these nipples. Highly recommend to anyone with a breast-loving, bottle-hating 9 month old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nipple pack is a very nice feature. My baby just didn’t prefer these nipples. He has a very specific preference for nipple shape and these were a little too big around the base. Some nipples are made to resemble breast nipples and shape, however if a baby can’t latch a breast then they won’t be able to latch that nipple. These seem to have a wider base that he can’t get a good latch on. We tried it a few times and he doesn’t want to take. It becomes difficult to feed when he’s constantly pulling off which then adds air into his feedings. The quality of the nipples are good. They’re well made and durable. They are flexible and have a good flow. Overall it’s the shape that had some setbacks for us but the product is a good product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avent have always been my favorite brand of bottles to use with both of my children although we typically use the naturals version. I love that there are only minimal parts with only the ring to hold the nipple in place. The nipples are soft and flexible. I was unable to tell if there was anything special to the design of these nipples versus other brands or versions. My baby is past the colic phase as she is 9 months old but still spits up regularly. I do not feel that these bottles helped her to spit up less but neither do other bottles that we have tried. I do appreciate that there are various flow rates to use based on baby preference, needs and age. We did try the size 3 flow nipples and this seemed a little fast for our baby but she is used to a slower flow to help reduce her spitting up. Based on her age she was recommended to use the size 4 nipples but we did not try those due to the size 3 seeming a little fast for her but this may be just our baby's preference. She did take to this bottle very easily and did not seem to mind that the nipple was a little smaller than her typical ones that have a wider base.
