I generally find rotary shavers are better for me. The Panasonic foil shaver I had was a very close shave but left me with too many razor bumps. The Philips shave is close and comfortable (I am using the sensitive setting). The shaver is very quiet compared to a foil shaver. The Philips always seems to cut the awkward hairs on the neck. The digital display is good and much better than other shavers but I find the app is a bit gimmicky and I don't really use it now. The charging stand is ok and I really like the cleaning unit being so easy to use although I don't think it's as good as the Braun cleaning unit. I love the look of the shaver and it feels good in the hand. I never bother with the trimmer attachment. Overall I love this shaver and would buy another one

I have a square jaw line that makes it difficult to shave certain areas. The trimmer works great for my side burns and eyebrows and it’s easy to use. I was initially concerned about the charging time but it seems to charge fairly rapidly. The only negative thing I have to say is that a wall charger should be included with the kit. It took me a bit of searching to find one that was acceptable.

This is a superb shaving system. I havr noe more or less mastered it, and it produces a perfect shave. The problem I had initially was to identify the constituent pats and how they came together. The silly little 'user guide' consisting of difficult-to-see 'icons' were more confusing that helpful. I assume it was intended to make the process available to as many languages in as little space as possible. I would say it failed on all accounts as a help! I have a number of questions: how often is a full clean supposed to be necessary? I have done 3 cleanings in the 8 weeks I have been using the shaver. How may cleanings can I do using the liquid supplied before I have to buy more. How can I buy more? Surely I don't have to buy the 'pot' it came in: all I did was to open it and pour the liquid into the container which you upend the shaver into to do the cleaning. I looked on your web site andit was not obvious how you get 'refills' of cleaning liquid - I assume the liquid is a format unique to Philips?!?! I don't want to destroy the shaver mech and heads by putting the wrong liquid in! As I said earlier, more detailed information on how to use the shaver, look after it between cleans and use of the app,

Tres bonne qualité de rasage. mais gestuelle un beu complexe. Le pod clean pas une géniale idée. Le rasoir reste humide 24 heures apres utilisation. Besois de netttuyer la tete de rasage tout les jours. Le rasoir a besoin d'etre rechargé avent usage. C'est la grande déception ce pos clean. La mise a jour du rasoir via vlue tooth font descendre drastiquement l'autonomie du rasoir

Very good product supplied with with extras bundle. Great features and you are able to set the shave pressure to match your personal beard strength. You can also control functions via the app. Has given me very close shaves. Not impressed with the liquid cleaning cartridge that was supplied with the shaver. Used it once and the shaver displayed a message to tell me that it needed replacing. These cartridges are supposed to last a couple of months. This let the post shave experience down.

When I am shaving around my jaw line one of the flaps holding the shaving flaps will depress and one will stay up creating a one up one down situation that catches my jaw bone. For some reason this is unique to this shaver. I have owned many Phillips shavers with smaller heads and this did not happen ie. the Phillips I9000 round head design

The second one had a battery that discharged extremely quickly during the five minutes of charging, about 15% of its charge was discharged, which is abnormal. I returned both phones and continued using the old one.900

After having had a beard for years , I looked around for a good shaver . I was drawn to the Philips after some research. The Philips prestige was half price .very happy with the build quality, so impressed I also bought the prestige ultra . Love the different settings on the ultra, especially the sensitivity settings. I also like the cleaning bath and alternate between the two shavers . I’m still managing to miss some areas but think it’s my technique as opposed to the shaver.
