    3000 series razor doesn’t meet marketing blurb.

    The razor does not do what it says it will do. Despite using it exactly as recommended my neck and part of my face were grazed and cut. I was unable to shave again for days whilst my skin healed. Same thing happened on the next attempt. It is definitely not gentle on the skin. I would not recommend this model to anyone.

    Good quality and value. Charges quickly and battery lasts a long time. Cuts quite close but you need to go over repeatedly. Definitely buy again.

    The Head follows the curves of the face.

    It is a good buy. Not as strong as my previous one which I still use although it has a slight damage and the battery don't last as long but still charges and last about six shaves. The last one I had from 1996. This one gives a great shave but the motor should have been more powerful not that it is not strong. But it works and the head moves like my other one. I bought two but gave the other one away as the head was not for me. Keeping this one.

    Awful shaver. Go over spots many times and still misses whiskers. Should have kept my norelco electric shaver bought 20 years ago.

    Excellent Philips Shaver 3000 series

    I have been using my new Philips Shaver 3000 series since I purchased it about 2 months ago. Very happy with every aspect of it and it gives a very smooth and comfy shave every time. Very long lasting charge on the shaver which is very convenient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great shaver that is very easy to use and maintain.

    Very poor trimmer

    Very poor moustache trimmer, it has never worked properly, trying to contact support for replacement or product repair. Otherwise shave part works fine.

    Ideal for a quick shave.

    This is the first electric/rechargeable shaver I have ever used (I'm 72). I got fed up using a wet razor and foam every day, so thought I'd try out a Philips 3000 series shaver, as recommended by a friend who has used electric all of his life. First impressions are good and obviously no setting up to do as with a wet shave. I still wet shave if I'm having a night out or going out for a meal, but the Philips 3000 is ideal for day to day use. The wet shave razor still gives a much closer shave, but the electric obviously saves time and mess. I'm happy enough with my purchase.

    Very good for an inexpensive shaver.

The overall shave is good, but not great as far as closeness is concerned. It is fine for an inexpensive shaver. The price is great. Why pay so much more money for an expensive Norelco, even if the shave is somewhat closer?
