Equipped with advanced SenseIQ technology, the shaver senses and adapts to your hair density, for improved skin comfort. With up to 90,000 cutting actions per minute, the SteelPrecision blades shave close, cutting more hair per stroke*. The 45 high-performance blades are self-sharpening. Philips Norelco products have adaptors with automatic voltage selection with 100 to 240 volts printed on the adaptor to select. For international travel, you may need to use another adaptor or plug, depending on the countries power system and outlets. Packaging uses plastic alternative such as FSC-certified paper, aluminum, steel, or glass with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging. A: Sadly this has been a cheaping out trend of norelco and other mfrs. I' wirte more but Tager doesn't allow enough room even ofr complimenting messages.

I have been using the shaver for 4 months & get excellent shaves every time, I'm now waiting to see how long the cutting heads last. So far I would recommend the Phillips Shaver to anyone who wants a clean shave every time!!

Very pleased with the shaver. Gives a good close shave, the motor is quiet in use and lasts a good time between charges. Much better than foil based shavers that I've used in the past. Only real problem is the size of the surround to the actual cutting heads is quite large, making it difficult to shave awkward areas like under the nose. The gliding properties of the head over the skin could also be improved a little. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the shaver. An excellent buy.

The plastic surrounding the shaving heads is huge making it difficult to shave around my beard or see where I'm using the pop-up trimmer. Wish I could still get a plug-in shaver with pop-up trimmer!

Overall a good product. The main issue I have is being able to manage the area under the nose. With the circular blades on a triangle head, it's difficult to get close to the nostrils. Also, the trimmer that vibrates back and forth (ie. sideburn, not the separate attachment) does not work great. Otherwise, quite satisfied.

Philips continuously improve the shavers they produce and the current 5000 series is no exception. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my latest 5000 series now comes with a pop up trimmer as well as a cleaning brush and blade protecting cover. The skin IQ technoligy is also in a league of it's own ensuring a perfectly smooth shave.

This shaver replaces an earlier Philips model. I thought the old model was OK, but this model is sooooo much better. I quick, quiet shaver. No fuss. 60 seconds and the shave is done beautifully.

My husband was not happy with the shaver. His skin was itchy after shaving. He still had to use his old shaver to finish shaving. My husband preferred the old shaver. We will try another type of Phillips shaver.
